I was wrong about Texas, they're ranked 24th most dependent on fed money. So they're pretty good
 
And nr 1 most dependent is actually a blue state, New Mexico. However nine out of the ten states following N. Mexico are red states.

Based on tht chart you can see tht CT is 7th, so they depend a lot less on feds than Texas (24). Is it possible Congress is being more generous with Texas considering just about all cons love tht state? Or does CT try to handle its own shit?
 
Either way Texas was a lot higher up than I first claimed (thought they were bottom 10) but for a state tht size with all their natural resources (sun included as resource) shouldn't be receiving that much money, and instead should increase their tax rates.
