I just want to know if I'm on the right track. My babies are about 4 weeks old and have 5 & 6 nodes and are 4 1\\2" tall I have 4 in a 10 gallon reservoir. I've had a pH problem twice. Any advice is welcome.
Here it the set up I just topped them for the first time. They are bag seed I just want to see how CFL's do cost v's yield.
Also have been chasing high pH for one week finally after 3 flushes got it under control I will never use baking soda again. I'll only use aquarium pH adjusters from now on. But that's why the spots and curled leaves.
I haven't changed my reservoir in like a month... I just kept topping it off with 5-600 ppm nutes and when that gets low , I top it off with plain ph water lol... Then repeat...monster ..... This is just a mother plant tho
I change my res. every week I have heard about people doing that juts topping off with nut's and water. Its not ideal it increases ur chances of rot, algae, and diseases. So they say. But looks like it works for you that's a beautiful mother your got their how old is she. Mine will be 5 weeks from seed Thursday.
I'm just trying out CFL's to see yield to cost. I live in Alabama so as u can imagine I have only ever seen my Grow and we certainly don't talk about it. So I have to experiment first hand to which method is going to get me the best Bud for as little $ as possible. I have less than $500 in everything right now including electricity costs in this grow.
Hey ive experienced that fast at the start of a bacterial breakout Normally my ph will rise in veg from 5.6 to about 6.2 over a day or two in a 5 gallon res but thats fast
