Cannibus for mood/anxiety

  1. hey folks! anyone here benefit from using cannibus for mental health. I have found that it does , espcially sativa haze. blue dream is a real good one also helps inprove well being

    I agree, I feel it helps relieve anxiety especially in the morning before starting a busy day. It has many benefits towards your well being.

    Like Bob Marley once said, "When you smoke the herb, it reveals you to your true self." ;)
     
  3. I've had anxiety since I was young, doctors put me on a bunch of pills that did nothing but fog up my brain. I stopped all meds myself and the only thing I use now is Cannabis, nothing else relaxes me or helps me calm down the way it does.

    Edibles are great for that too because the effects last longer, although it's more of a body high.
     
  4. Yeh I board the cannibus when I'm feeling down and stuff.
    The driver gives me free fares sometimes which is also awesome!

  6. Yep...  I figured out in my mid-forties (therapy was good for me...) I'd been self-medicating with cannabis since I was a teenager... I didn't recognize my behavior or mind-set as being anxious.  I just knew that smoking dope made me feel better.  Still does.
    I had to have my anxiety pointed out to me before I could recognize it by myself.  "I'm not anxious..."  I say to the therapist as I sit, relentlessly rocking in a rocking chair, while swinging my keys, which are on a lanyard, around on my hand by twirling my arm in small circles...  [​IMG]

  8. I've been on several medications for anxiety and depression, which only made the depression worse. Since I started smoking 2 years ago, I got off Prozac a few months later and haven't needed to take it since, as long as I take a couple hits a day! I still take anxiety meds daily, since they aren't for panic attacks. They're for just keeping my anxiety down overall, but I love a good sativa right before a panic attack. Clears my mind instantly and makes me forget whatever I was anxious about.
