I went from 24/0 clones to 16/8 light schedule at start of veg. The leafs on one strain, although healthy, started to show strange growth. The new growth leaves look almost like a chainsaw blade with jagged teeth around the edges. It doesn't look like a clone taken from a flowering plant though. Everything looks normal except the jagged teeth leaves.

I recently noticed a couple of pistils on the small plants and concluded that the 16/8 schedule is causing the onset of flowering.

Could this be what is causing the chainsaw effect?

They were under 16/8 for 3 weeks, and I have since changed to 18/6. Will they recover and start growing normal leaves?

  2. Will post pics later tonight

  3. Here's the pics showing the pineapple chunk & THC bomb. Pineapple looks fine THC bomb has the leaf deformity.

Also pics of the mothers to see how the leaves should look. 4. Deformed leaves normally incur that the plant has gone through some sort of stress. They will almost always grow out of it, just be careful feeding heavy/often during this time. If the plant isn't drinking as much, back off your water volume, and reduce your nutes to 50% until you see a new leaf set form without the deformation. Nothing to worry bout

  5. N toxicity will do that to your girls, you've overfed so they should be flushed.

I see the new growth now from side chutes looks normal. I think you are right. They will grow out of it. Going from 24/0 to 16/8 must have stressed them. Next round I'll go from 24/0 to 18/6 instead and see if that helps.
    Thanks

  7. Definitely not N toxicity. These girls have only been fed lightly.

  8. According to the deep dark green foliage they appear to have been in a hot soil. Or, pictures are deceiving.

  9. Fox farm happy frog. Fed twice at 50% strength. The THC bomb has always looked dark green I used to think it was too much N but it's mom was happy as a clown at low strength nutes. And she also always looks dark green.

  10. Yep, the burnt tips are indicative to N overload, aye?

Funny thing is those clones were on no nutes at all for 3+ weeks but the THC bomb always stays dark green.

The tips on the moms are in good shape. I think it's due to age of the leaf rather than any kind of burn. Also the pots I'm using could be bigger. They may be starting to get root bound but only 2 weeks left.

  12. That article goes on forever!Good info I will check it out.

I start flush in a couple days. I'll update if the BOMB lightens up at all or not.

  13. I've been having to PH up because the tiger bloom brings pH way down.

  14. I rarely grow indoors, so I never use ph up.
