Thanks I have another question I plan on starting to add molasses to my mix with my nutes & continue to use it during the flush for the last 2 weeks how long should I wait after my flush to start molasses,
I'm flushing now because I have salt build up

  4. I would say flush and then if the plants are not starving then do one more just water. Then use the molasses mix. This way use sure the issue is resolved before adding anything else.

  5. Thanks I'm going to do as you said & I'll be back with my results

  6. Why use bottled water? It's just somebody else's tap water.

I'm growing in soil.. using nutes

  10. I don't recommend flushing and adding nutes at the same time. The point of flushing is to remove nutes.

While molasses is full of carbs to feed microbes, it also contains a few element like potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron to name a few. Adding it to depleted soil that has been ravaged with chemical nutes, imho, is pointless. There will be few if any microbes left to benefit the plants.

Salt toxicity is bad, the soil should be bagged up carefully and thrown away after usage. It is possible to remove most salts but not without killing most all microbial life, plus the salt toxicity will significantly reduce yield. careful your runoff from the flush doesn't go down the drain or into any drainage pipes, as the phosphorous can spread to streams causing algae to grow and hampering the water supply with toxins, making it Undrinkable.

If you'd like to learn a cheaper way to grow cannabis where you don't throw away your soil, you feed the plants teas from grains like corn or barley, where nutes like kettle popping corn are cheap, then I highly recommend you start reading here.

  11. Thanks I'll definitely look at your forum.. & yur saying since I'm growing with nutes the molasses is useless period or can I use it at different stages of my next grow

  12. I'm saying flushing while adding molasses is useless. Molasses can be added from the beginning with your nute regiment, but when flushing it's an unneccessarily amendment.

  13. Oh Ok Thanks Lol
