Fungus gnats on seedlings..how much hydrogen peroxide

  1. I have one cup with a laughing buddha in it which is about two inches tall and a blackberry kush auto in a seven gallon bucket that has just barely poked out of the ground. They both seem to have the little yellow bugs in the potting mix I used. So how much hydrogen peroxide should I treat them with when they are so young? Can I pour it directly on them?

  2. I'd be potting up to a new mix, or be fighting these bugs daily for the next 5 months,
can you not take it back tot he store and bitch about this

  3. Yeah I dumped it and have a new blackberry kush seed that's ready tonight. This time I'm using 60 percent organic potting soil, about 20 percent perlite, and 20 percent manure/compost

  4. You should have added crab shell meal. The chitin eating bacteria would have made quick work of them and they wouldn't come back either:)

    ~ poke

  5. Agreed on established plants yes
