Americans Getting Stupider....In Last 100 years IQ Has Fallen 14 points...

  1. Would love to see one too. Nothing about that seems right, and was not what I was asserting at all.

  2.
It just seems at least in the US everyone is obsessed with a 4 year degree. Great money, virtually unlimited opportunity in many many things that require zero traditional education.

When you get your car fixed, call the electrician, ride in a plane those are all fixed by highly skilled, very well paid individuals who most likely make more then the majority of people in there age bracket to probably decades older.

  3. idk about everyone. Perhaps you are projecting

  4. I don't rest all the blame solely on Americans. The average blue collar american looking to make ends meet don't have time to sit down and rationalize government, philosophy, and etc....

    A)  blame can also be attributed to the failing educational system which seems to believe implementing state standardization and then implement metrics on schools to then threatening them with allocating funds if those metrics aren't met.

    B) blame the media for it's lazy journalism selling out integrity for white house talking points. Creating an environment in which a sex changes dominates the media versus congressional legislation.

    C) blame can also be made on the Educational bubble which made higher education so unattainable due to the government involvement in the loan market creating an industry with high interest rates and an astronomical debt.

    D) The idiocy of students. Unfortunately due to the job market;  certain concessions has to be made to secure survival; we need more Math, Science, and Engineers majors, versus Interior Design, Philosophy, Phycology, etc....

Don't get me wrong I think us;  Americans are humble ..... we know we are stupid and dam proud of it! [IMG]

I either drink purified/distilled water that has been well filtered away from all chlorine, fluoride, bacteria, sodium ect.. Usually has 001-003 ppm and around 6.0 to 6.5PH or go for a drive to the mountains and buy spring water from source or order when i cannot drive.

Naturally occurring levels of fluoride in nature's waters that have not been messed with is only 0.05ppm. It is extremely low compared to what they put in our drinking waters and tap waters and so on.

Lucky i found a good source for myself. Also don't fall for the fake Alkaline water scams, You body needs slightly acidic water to thrive. (Preferably 5.5PH water is perfect as its closest PH to pure rain water i think?

I would say No lower than 5.0 and no higher than 6.5
Also the less ppm the better 0-50ppm for quality.

Sometimes the water i order is 4.5 but i just bubble the water a bit and its back to its original 5.3-5.5 state of source.

Nevertheless even at acidic levels still tastes way better and makes me function and feel better compared to other waters or tap water ...yuck!

  10.
I've been on well water for the past 40 years and I'm dumber than hell. [IMG]

    1 + 1 = . . . 3?

    See ^ ?

BAN WELL WATER! I read on the internet that it can kill you if stick your head in a bucket of it for 3 minutes!  [IMG]    [IMG]

  11. Alkaline water and acidic water is bullshit dude. You can't regulate the alkalinity of your body in a major way. If you add acid then your body will just buffer it or vice versa if you add base. You clearly have not done a large amount of research on either fluoride or the pH of water. We've had this debate countless times on GC and every time it's the same outcome. If you have extremely high levels of fluoride like in some rural areas then it can have some minor side effects. If you are around the levels that pretty much most municipalities and cities are at then you have nothing to worry about. If there were any kind of increases associated solely with the intake of fluoride then studies comparing areas with extremely low or nonexistent levels of fluoride and high levels of fluoride would show these differences. However pretty much every study I've ever seen done on the topic shows that there is no significant difference between the two groups.

I see what you did there..
    1 (male) + 1 (female) = Baby?
(The only way i could make 1+1 to Equal to 3) Seems quite right :D
I did state to stay away from alkaline water scams. So i don't know what was all that about..

However i do not agree with you on the fluoride, I have also done my fair share of research with different results. I guess it all comes down to how we ask the questions resulting in our different answers.

Sometimes you just nee to know where to look or what to ask.

My favorite rapper was murdered for speaking the truth and it effected me deeply growing up why would i even dare to lie :S

  14. It comes down to who you are willing to trust. I'm willing to put my faith in researchers at NIH, national institute of cancer, and several other journal articles I've read in entirety that have thoroughly reviewed this issues. These are studies that were done over many years with extremely large sample sizes. The methodology as I said before was very good. They used many areas where fluoride in water was nonexistent to compare to the health of individuals living in high fluoride areas. All of these studies not only found basically no statistically significant differences, but also many found that fluoridated areas were better off especially when it came to dental issues.

Overall, the belief that fluoride below 3 or 4 mg/L, which is what our government enforces, is a major health issue is unfounded. There are some studies from the early 90s where there were negative impacts in animal testing. The problem is that if this danger translated to humans then we would see a difference in health risks for people who are exposed to higher levels of fluoride which isn't the case in pretty much every major study of fluoride. I'm not gonna say that I know 100 percent that fluoride is safe, but it's at the point where the data seems to clearly support that it is safe. If you don't mind me asking, what links are you referring to. I would love to look at your source material, because if I am wrong I would like to learn more.

The problem is truth has been suppressed. Especially if your relying on mainstream studies. Cancer alone is worth roughly $160 billion a year. If everyone is getting cured there will be no business. I don't blame you or anyone for questioning and not understanding because the way this has been planned out and blinded the people from the truth is a Masterpiece.

But..Like i always say i don't see why try to compete with 7 billion minds. Sooner or later the truth will come out.
There will always be a new idea, a smarter mind a new way of thinking.

(Think about it how many times in Prisons they catch Inmates creating new weapons and new things and the police continue-sly come up with new systems and techniques and get all sorts of help from around the country to prevent and stop these things but no matter what they do the Inmates always come up with a better idea and create something new)

Together we are UN-touchable there are just 2 many of us.

Nevertheless i hope you find what you are looking for [IMG]

  16. I'm honestly trying to figure out what exactly you are saying and who are you addressing but I'm pretty sure it's my post. Are you saying fluoride increases or causes cancer and that the truth about it has been suppressed to make more money? I just want to clarify that that is your position before responding. That being said I can't make heads or tails of the last two paragraphs. Are you saying that the truth will come out about fluoride eventually because there are billions of people and someone will discover it?

  17. I asked for a source on your IQ claim.
