This post is for people on the fence about buying a vaporizer. I was originally going to post this as a comment but I reaaally got into it. I like writing stoned :)

Back in January my tolerance to weed was so high it started dropping from my mouth and nose. I was smoking on average an eighth a day; using only joints and bongs. Every time I smoked, I'd be sober and tired within 45 minutes. Cloudy; really. Months flew by like minutes because of it.

I started looking into vapes after trying my friends Volcano. That certainly got me high longer than 45 minutes. At the time I didn't make that much money; so I bought the Magic Flight. After using it with the batteries for a few weeks I got the power adapter. I was certainly surprised by how little weed it took to get me decently high.

    Didn't help my tolerance though.

It was the same feeling but less weed. I came to learn what I was doing wrong - I was smoking along side vaping. Sessions can take awhile.. I personally love vaping 3 trenches - It gets me ridiculously stoned but takes about an hour. So, I smoked whenever I didn't have that time. 1 trench wasn't enough or worth it.

So, I quit smoking and began using only the vape. This meant I had to start being sober more often due to my busy schedule - and it was TOUGH at first. After two weeks however, I starting feeling a sense of clarity during work, hanging out with sober friends, etc.

I didn't have to sacrifice weed entirely like some people do to get that clarity back. When hanging out with friends, I only vape. Most of em have the patience to vape only too but if they only want to smoke - I ain't matching.

And now, with the orbiter in all it's glory along side the nano grinder; every time I vape I get an exceptional high. The differences between strains stand out more in taste, and whether or not it's indica or sativa dominant. Head highs can intense and wake me up, or maybe I'll get a total "my head weighs 100 pounds right now" head high. Don't even get me started on the MFLB's couch locking capabilities. Nothing beats how clear of a high you get from a vaporizer.

It was definitely an investment with all the add ons but it quickly paid for itself. I really look forward to checking out other vaporizers but I'm plenty happy with this setup for now.

If you're a heavy stoner sick of their tolerance (and maybe just being foggy like I was); if used right switching to vaporizers may just change the way you look at weed.

    Vape life.

  2. i love mine. absolutely love it. it was a game changer for me as well. i too smoke along side vaping but i am no where near an eighth a day though. i feel like the high from vaping is more clean and my mind seems to be clearer at the time.

  3. What a nice post, it was a good read. Thanks

  4. mflb is my daily. not pipes anymore. when you smoke and you get a high tolerance you just start smoking more. you really need to moderate usage to actually get stoned. you can't expect to just smoke as much as possible and still be getting high as possible. it just doesn't work at all.

  5. Hooray for vapes! Great story. :)

  6. Post like this make me enjoy the city even more. Great Post Op.

I originally bought a vape because of all the great health benefits. Smoking in general feels kinda dirty to me. Vapes kick ass. i always thought about buying a MFLB just to play with here and there.

  7. + for vapes!

  8. Awesome post! Happy to hear it worked so well for you.

I hated vaping after having used the vapor genie, didn't like the high. 3 years passed and I was gifted my friends mflb. The batteries sucked but I still managed to get high with a small amount of weed. When I got the PA, everything changed. Really lets you use the box to it's full potential. It's a great vape for beginners. Decent price, LIFETIME WARRANTY (both mflb & PA), discreet, little to no smell, portable, all good things really.

To be quite honest I've never got high off vapes, either bud or concentrate. Combustion and edibiles are the only way to go for me. It's the same for nicotine, e-cigs do nothing for me. I end up keep on vaping but I'm at dangerously high levels of nicotine and never felt the satisfaction of just a cigarette

I might change my mind one day though

  10. I have owned an MFLB for coming on 3 years and I can count on my two hand the times I've actually enjoyed using it......less than two minutes of operating time and you have to charge it for six hours, unless you spend an extra $80 on their wall accessory, and then you might as well get another better portable vaporizer.....I would look at another vape if you're in the market. There's plenty of options for sub $200 vapes that I would choose over this.

  11. Sounds like the batteries are knackered if you're only getting 2 mins and it's taking 6 hours to charge. I can usually get 2-3 trenches out of a battery and a 3-4 hour charge time but appreciate the MFLB isn't for everyone! The lifetime warranty (even if you do something stupid you're covered!) and the fact you have the ability to run with batteries (and as many as you like no internal fixed battery) or the PA and it doesn't continually cook your bud like most others makes this my favourite vape!
