Big Keen back again, this time with an all encompasing grow journal. This is going to be an ongoing chronicle of my current grow and all future ones. For now im running two 600watters and Im gonna be using scrog nets. I got Subcool super soil cooking with Great White mychorizal fungi(fuckin great stuff!!!). And I'm gonna use the Vegamatrix nute line from Kyle Kushman!

After only like 4-5 days...and its been cooking for weeks
    IMG_20150514_151342418.jpg

Im going to be growing some Viper City OG from Moxie Seeds & Extracts. I will also grow these in accordance with the Zodiac and the phases of the Moon. I germinated these 7 days ago. 5 popped, and 2 have bocome rooted, still waiting on the others.

    IMG_20150526_162337629.jpg
I germinated these durring the Month of Taurus(May), Day of Taurus(17th-18th) In the hours of Cancer(12noon-2PM). Taurus is ruled by Mars, who rules water. A very fruitful and wet sign for any kind of planting. They were also planted on the day of Cancer and a New Moon which is why i think these plants are so fast and vigorous.

Everything I do to these plants will be in conjunction with the Zodiac and the phases of the Moon.

I will be updating this journal every week with detailed info about techniques used and the results, thanks for stopping by...stay high[IMG] [IMG]  Updates coming every week...

  2. Does this really work? I mean, you're growing indoors and everything..
Wicked setup you've got going on, though.

  3. Thanks for checkin out my journal bro! I know this stuff works. We humans are born indoors but still are subject to the effects of our planetary bodies. And the lower life forms: animals, plants and insects, have a much deeper relationship with the planets and moon. Basically what im taking advantage off is the rays and subtle energies that take place when the Sun, Moon and planets are in various phases. For example, the full moon has energy that is good for starting plants that grow below the ground like potatoes. The New Moon has energy that is good for starting plants that grow above ground, like cannabis[IMG]. I germinated these seeds astrologicaly and 24 hours later they had sprouted...faster than any other seeds Ive ever germinated. This stuff goes deep dude lol and has been used by farmers for centuries. Just google "astrological horticulture" and youll be amazed lol

  4. Nice setup Gemini subbed in

  5. Just a quick update before next week...Just turned on one of my 600watters for the baby girls! And I'm gonna run these bad boys without the glass this time. Up to 20% of the lumens are lost as they pass through the glass...
    IMG_20150529_150647914.jpg
Theyre a little too lanky for my taste but theyre starting to thicken up.
    IMG_20150526_195204098.jpg

  6. Big Keen here with my Week 2 Update. The girls are doing super good. Theyre lanky-ness is starting to even out and theyre getting stronger every day! Unfortunatly out of the 5 seeds I germinated only 2 ended up rooting. But I suppose thats the way the cookie crumbles. Ill probly just end up cloning these and flowering them with theyre daughters. I will be transplanting these lovely young women into 1.5gal pots this weekend durring the day of Taurus in the hour of Cancer. The Moon will be "waning" on this day and will lend its waning energy to the roots of the plants after transplantation. So, without further delay, the pics...

As far as the cosmos is concerned theres alot of activity
    IMG_20150602_200830706_HDR.jpg
I didnt water today even though they kind of needed it because the Moon was in opposition with both Mars and Mercury. As Ive said, Mars rules water, and Mercury in Astology has stong ties with anything water realated. So with the Moon baically bheing in opposition with water today, I didnt water. Also, its the start of a beautiful Full Moon tonite. Plants have such a powerful connection with the Moon. Since Ive been growing astrologicaly, Im noticing that as the Moon goes through its phases the plants follow along. Im noticing that in the 14.5 days that the Moon waxes they grow upward for every day that the Moon waxes. And for the 14.5 days that it wanes, Im noticing that the upward momentum slighly stops and they grow outward, developing the leaves and roots. And this "mini cycle" repeats as the Moon cycles. Its something Ive never noticed and am very surprised by. Anyway, thanks for stopping by, Ill updat next week...stay high and stay fly! Big Keen out!!!

  7. Keen in the house with my Week 3 Update! These lovely girls are doing soo good! They grew alot this past week, Theyre healthy and praying to the light...
    IMG_20150608_102648448.jpg IMG_20150608_102709083_HDR.jpg IMG_20150608_102630476.jpg
At least double the growth of last week!
    IMG_20150608_102945325.jpg IMG_20150608_102923645.jpg IMG_20150608_102923645.jpg

I transplanted these yesterday while the Moon was in trine with the Sun(60 degree aspect) wich is usually used to plant "vines". I figure that since Im gonna SCROG these I might as well "harvest" that energy. I transplanted these while the Moon was in the sign of Capricorn, durring the hour of Taurus. Last week I said I was gonna TP in the sign of Taurus but I changed my mind. I chose Capricorn because its the cardinal earth sign and its ruled by Saturn. Cannabis is a plant of Saturn(has rings in the stalks) so it made more sense to use Saturn's energy. However, I feel that Taurus is a good sign for Cannabis to. Taurus is ruled by Venus wich is purely female and very fertile.

I started them on Vegamatrix as well...
    IMG_20150608_103652293.jpg
Great stuff btw. Super clean and doesnt even really smell. Compared to General Organics this stuff is as clean as water. Both me and the ladies are lovin it!!! I only feed when the Moon is in a favorable sign for watering/planting (Taurus, Virgo, CapricornCancer, Scorpio, Picses) and durring the hours of Cancer(12-2pm). And if I cant feed durring Cancer Ill feed durring the hours of Scorpio(8-10pm). Not going to be doing much this week, the Perigee is Wednesday(when the Moon is closest to the Earth in its eliptical orbit) and it will not be a good time for any gardening. Germination, sowing, pruning and growth are all adversely affected by the Perigee as well as the Apogee(when the Moon is furthest from Earth in its eliptical orbit). As always, thanks for checkin out my chronicle. Ill be back next week. Big Keen out!

Big Keen in the house once again. This time for my Week 4 Update!!! Its been a very vigorous week for the ladies. Theyve more than doubled in size since last week and are doin amazing! The super soil combined with Vegamatrix are doing wonders. And remember, this is the Week 4 update but these ladies are only THREE weeks old from seed.
    IMG_20150615_110447290.jpg IMG_20150615_110503544.jpg IMG_20150615_110755252_HDR.jpg IMG_20150615_110824607_HDR.jpg IMG_20150615_110837285_HDR.jpg IMG_20150615_110846304.jpg IMG_20150615_111710317.jpg

I fed them today at about 1pm which is Cancer, and the moon is in the sign of Taurus. Tomorrow Im gonna increase my ballast to 75%, for two weeks and then its on to 100%. Not sure of which sign or what time Im gonna make the switch but Im thinking Ill do it durring Leo. The Sun rules Leo and Leo represents the radiant heat of Summer. Im not running these on a 18/6 light schedule, I started them under 15hrs of light and Ill be slowly tapering the time back every two weeks or so by 30mins. Theyre getting 14.5hrs of light a day now. Im also gonna be getting a UVB reptile lamp for the ladies once I flower them.
    SET%20BOX%20BULB_Reptile%20UVB200_EU_RGB.jpg
UVB is UltraViolet light, not the best light for us Humans but UVB rays are known to increase a plants THC levels. As the light is focused through the resin gland UVB rays increase the resin glands THC production.
Disc cells, attached to leaf or bract by stipe cells (RED) & basal cells (GREEN), release fibrillar wall matrix into secretory cavity where it contributes to thickening of subcuticular wall during enlargement of secretory cavity. Plastids (ORANGE) in disc cells produce secretions called lipoplasts which synthesize quantities of lipophilic substances that accumulate outside the plasma membrane, migrating into the endoplasmic reticular cytoplasm and through the plasma membrane and cell wall into the secretory cavity where they form vesicles (BLUE) in the secretory cavity. Vesicles in contact with the subcuticular wall release contents that contribute to the growth of the cuticle during the enlargement of the secretory cavity. THC occurs in the walls, fibrillar matrix & other contents surrounding the vesicles, but not in the vesicles. Trace amounts of THC is present in the disc cells.
. UVB rays increase the rate and potency of this action.
    15.jpg

Also I gave them their first foliar feeding today using Hard-n-Quick. Apparently its supposed to help the plant maintain very tight inter-nodal spacing as it develops bud sites. And as we all know, tight inter-nodal spacing equals nice dense fat nugs!!!
    IMG_20150615_112754254.jpg IMG_20150615_113139834.jpg

Cant wait to see these girls in full bloom! And as fast as theyre growing Its not gonna bo long. As always opinions and advice are always welcomed and encouraged. As for me, I got a fat bowl waiting, Big Keen out!

  9. Big Keen in the house for Update #5! The ladies are doing amazing! As of yesterday these girls are exactly 30 days old from seed. Im going to be transplanting these girls into 5gal buckets on the 3rd of July when the Moon is in the sign of Capricorn, which is Cardinal Earth. At exactly 11:37am the Moon will be in a 120 degree aspect(Sextile) with Saturn, which rules the Cannabis plant. Theres going to be some very good energies to harness on that day. But i digress, I got some great before and after shots of the ladies, I gave 'em a trim and a FIM yesterday while the Moon was in Leo, durring the transition from Leo to Virgo(3:45-4:15). Also, I kicked up my light to full power baby!!!

    IMG_20150622_124653438_HDR.jpg
    IMG_20150622_124841555_HDR.jpg

And this is after the trim and FIM.

    IMG_20150622_160604663_HDR.jpg
Should get at least 4 new shoots per plant from the FIMs. I usually alternate between FIMing and topping. Also, all the pruning and what not is being done in a fire sign or an air sign. Pruning should not be done in a water sign unless you want to inhibit growth, I came accross a really cool article about astrology in relation to Cannabis...check it out

Alright folks, thats gonna be it for me today. Thanks for checkin out my Chronicle, and as always stay high!!![IMG]

  10. Big Keen back yet again for an update. Sorry for not posting the last couple weeks. Had a spat with wildblue, and had to shut off my internet. Sidenote: if you have satellite internet...cancel it LOL...Anyway, on to the good stuff! Its been a good couple weeks despite running into a minor glitch. Had the ladies in 1.5gal pots that weren't draining very well. they got a little stunted but are doing good now. I transplanted them into 5gal buckets on the 3rd while the Moon was in the sign of Capricorn(Cardinal Earth). The Moon was also in conjunction with Saturn as well. So some good earthy, Saturnian energy was harvested. Heres some pics of the girls...

There are starting to show pre-flowers to, my phone couldnt get a good shot of em but I assure you theyre females.
    IMG_20150713_165516791_HDR.jpg IMG_20150713_165618844.jpg IMG_20150713_165711325.jpg

Getting alot of new shoots from the FIMs i did. 8 new shoots on the short plant and 6 new shoots on the bigger plant.
    IMG_20150713_165649343.jpg IMG_20150713_165729526.jpg

Also, i feel like theese plants are expressing themselves differently than each other. Ive done all the same things to them but one is bigger and kind of lanky while the other is super short with very tight node spacing. Even the leaves look different.
    IMG_20150713_171026191.jpg IMG_20150713_171112227.jpg

heres some pics of those pots that werent draining well. A little water stays at the bottom no matter how far I would tip em. Amateur mistake LOL you live and you learn. But i did modify them and added more drain holes.
    IMG_20150713_173749071.jpg IMG_20150713_173803300.jpg

Modified em for my outdoor plants Im running this year.
    IMG_20150713_173917714_HDR.jpg

Also Im gonna try my hand at doin some outdoor. This will only be my second time growing cannabis outdoors, any outdoor advice is welcome!
    IMG_20150713_171458197_HDR.jpg IMG_20150713_171357634.jpg
Dont know what strains they are, a buddy grew some shit last year that was really purple and there was some seeds in it. And the biggest one was a seed I had saved, cant remember what strain. And I will say this, Im primarily an indoor guy but I figured this would be a fun experiment. Theyve been outside for roughly 30 days. Only had em inside for about 2 weeks.

And finally, I was gifted some really dank Purple Diesel and low and behold, one big fat seed was in it! Put it in some water 2 days ago and a taproot emerged early this morning. Excited about running this!
    IMG_20150713_183451877.jpg

Well, thats it for me. As always I thank you for checkin out my chronicle. Leave some replies guys! I wanna know what you guys are smokin on and growin to. Post those pics! Anyway, Big Keen signing out! Stay High!!![IMG]

  11. Big Keen here with a quick update. You know how we do it in the Space Lab. Did some LST and FIMing today, just thought Id share some pics. I FIMed my taller plant 5 times and laid the branches down. I didnt FIM the shorter one. Shes gettin her little climb on so Im gonna let her be. But I did lay her down though.

    IMG_20150717_175754877.jpg IMG_20150717_175818320.jpg IMG_20150717_175834022.jpg IMG_20150717_175851877.jpg
    IMG_20150717_175911446.jpg IMG_20150717_180021424.jpg

    IMG_20150717_180032000.jpg

This girl is way shorter and tighter. I laid her down a bit, squished the stems just a bit. She dont like hard super cropping like the other. I will say this, her node spacing is rediculously tight. Like 4-5 nodes per inch right now. Im gonna give her about a week befor I FIM her again.
    IMG_20150717_180325851.jpg IMG_20150717_180341233.jpg
    IMG_20150717_180354341.jpg IMG_20150717_180407746_HDR.jpg

And my Purple Diesel seed poked its head out today! Excited about this.
    IMG_20150717_180044403.jpg

Anyway, just wanted to keep yall updated. Big Keen signing out.

  12. Big Keen back with another update. The ladies are doing really good. Went ahead and threw the SCROG net over the girls on Sunday. I FIMed the shorter girl as well while the Moon was in Scorpio. I also gave them a feeding of Vegamatrix. And I gotta say: its good shit! Very clean as opposed to say...General Organics, which Ive also used. Compared to GO, Vegamatrix is definitely better. Anyway, I digress. I got some good pics of the scrog, keep in mind, its a big net(5'x3') so I may or may not fill it up considering theres only 2 plants under it. Either way, I got it on in time and its gonna start goin nuts!
    IMG_20150720_122227190.jpg
    The squares are 4"x4"
    IMG_20150720_122301765.jpg
thats the dwarf lol she so short but the amount of shoots and nodes and closeness of them is rediculous.

Moving on, I got some shots of where I bent her under the net which will eventually become the base. So Ill be cleaning her up under the net so that by the time I flip and she starts stretching the bottom of the plant will be really clean. Ive scroged before and it can become alot of work to keep the bottom clean if you dont do your due diligence while shes in this phase right here.
    IMG_20150720_122401087.jpg IMG_20150720_122409550.jpg
    IMG_20150720_122431061.jpg IMG_20150720_122441769.jpg
    IMG_20150720_122500517.jpg

So thats whats goin on in the Space Lab, gettin scrogged out! Thats it for me, see you next week!

  13. What up GC, Big Keen back yet again to show you how its goin in the space lab. The girls are goin insane. My lil dwarf is starting to stretch out a bit after I FIMed her top branches a couple days ago. My other girls is a runner for sure. But shes strong as hell. I havent really done much to em since week, I been letting them fill out a bit before I super crop anymore. I been bending and pinching the bigger one pretty aggressively. I plan on cropping them and trimming them up a bit durring the next fire sign. I did give em a foliar feeding of Hard & Quick, its a kelp extract specifically for foliar feedings. Heres some pics of what goin on...
    IMG_20150727_200410484.jpg IMG_20150727_202303144.jpg
    IMG_20150727_200425262.jpg IMG_20150727_200430225.jpg

    IMG_20150727_202237855.jpg IMG_20150722_144047626_HDR.jpg

Big mama is goin hard in the paint! Those FIMs promoted so many new shoots, like 3-5 new shoots per FIM

Heres the little shorty, I FIMed her top 2 branches and shes startin to branch out. Shes kinda finicky, I cant do too much to her at one time, not like her sister anyway lol So Im just lettin her do her thing. I have trimmed her a little but shes touchy,
    IMG_20150727_202215005.jpg IMG_20150727_202146252.jpg

I do have to update you guys on my outdoor stuff. I did have to dispatch 2 more males since last week but, 2 of the others finally showed their sex. So I transplanted the 2 females into new containers, still waiting on 3 plants to show sex. As youll see I only had one 5gal bucket so I decided to rock the coleman cooler lol And those little babies down there are insane! Their was 4, and they are from seed and only 2 weeks old but I had to kill two because they had big ass balls after just 2 weeks! One of the 2 there is male I just didnt get rid of it yet. Fastest sexing plants Ive ever seen.
    IMG_20150727_191102194.jpg

I started a compost tea 3 days ago, and for my first attemp at tea its going good. Its anaerobic and pretty fuckin diverse. I got local wild deer manure in it, coffee, cider spices, tea bags, corn cobs, berries, wild flowers, rhizomes, wheat grass, bat guano, bone and blood meal, brown sugar and about 7-8 different types of wild flowering/fruiting plants I picked in my back yard. And I also put all the trimmed leaves and stuff from my plants into this tea to break down. It looks nasty but it actually smells pretty good, and the plants love it.
    IMG_20150727_171246948.jpg

Heres some pics I took while I was transplanting, first I made some little packets of love(bone and blood meal, guano, azomite, and like 3-4 other things I cant remember wrapped in a coffee filter)
    IMG_20150727_164258917.jpg

Then I get some worms and put them just below where Im gonna transplant. The worms work the soil and break it down for the roots.
    IMG_20150727_175037750.jpg

Then I put a little soil over the worms and threw in a few rocks just because. I put that little packet of love directly under the plant with just a thin layer of soil over it so the roots can have at it, I also threw in some plant material form my compost tea.
    IMG_20150727_181212952.jpg
I do this with my indoor plants as well minus the rocks, I used those because i added some native soil to my mix and it has some clay so I used rocks to counteract the clay. And here they are sittin pretty after the transplant, didnt even phase em.
    IMG_20150727_184232108.jpg IMG_20150727_170409970.jpg

Thats it for me this week. Space Lab all day baby! Stayin patient and grower based, and dont let the dispensaries bend you over. As always I thank you for checkin out my chronicle [IMG]

  14. First off, thanks snoooopy for takin some time to check out what Im doin. So whats crackin people, Big Keen in the house with another update. Im a couple days late but its all good baby. Before I get to the plants I wanna post a couple pics of what your boy is smokin on!
    IMG_20150804_165929215_HDR.jpg IMG_20150804_181923605.jpg IMG_20150804_175112879.jpg
Some serially dank ass Platinum Girl Scout Cookies. I even did a fat ass rosin press with it! And the rosin-y goodness loaded onto my homboys concentrate RDA.

Alright, now for the good shit lol The ladies are doing fuckin great. I fed em both with full strength Vegamatrix and some of my tea I been working on. The tea is simple as hell: A bit of Veganic Special Sauce, humic acid, kelp, liquid fish and some compost. Before I post these pics I do have to say that growing these plants in tune with the planets and signs is very interesting. The energies harnessed when you time gardening activities with the planetary bodies is subtle, but the effects are quite noticeable. For example, Ive been doing my super cropping and pruning during fire and air signs. Fire and air sign seem to really promote growth more than pruning in an earth or water sign. Anyway, Ive rambled enough lol.........Heres a couple before and after shots, I trimmed both of em a little bit and super cropped the big one.
    IMG_20150804_151521953.jpg IMG_20150805_182409030.jpg
I did my super cropping today while the Moon was transitioning from Pisces to Aries. I feel like I harnessed more of the Aries fire than Pisces' water. I could barely keep em down while I was working her, these plants are just soo beefy and girthy. I fed the big one on Friday since she's feeding more, and the Moon was in square with Saturn(90degree aspect) which I love, any conjunction or aspect with Saturn is highly beneficial to branching plants. Heres a few more shots.
    IMG_20150805_182414250.jpg IMG_20150805_182428724_HDR.jpg IMG_20150805_182451918.jpg

Heres a few of the stems and lower portions, and theyre thick as hell and strong as fuck.
    IMG_20150805_182512650.jpg IMG_20150805_182545382.jpg IMG_20150805_182705166.jpg
As you can see that stem is nearly as thick as my fat ass finger lol

As for the outdoor, theyre doin hella good. I been keeping them on my teas I been workin on and they love it.
I got some good before and after shots of the super crop and what not. I will say this, when im super cropping, Im twisting and pinching the branches untill the cell wall breaks. You can feel it when it happens and when your shit is nice n stiff you can even hear it snapping as you manipulate it. So heres before i knocked em down...
    IMG_20150804_144951397.jpg IMG_20150804_144959422.jpg
And heres what they look like after the abuse lol...
    IMG_20150804_145810121_HDR.jpg IMG_20150804_150733736.jpg
That how I do it, I aint nice about it, but I do it with love and the plants know it. I also wanted to show a pic of the result of my FIM. If you look close you can see 4 new shoots coming out of the FIM, 6 if you include the 2 shoots that came up from the node below.
    IMG_20150803_190841413.jpg

Heres my little baby goin hard outside, I have a feeling about this one. She showed sex in two weeks from seed, thats nuts!

    IMG_20150804_144937072.jpg

Thats how Im doin it up here in the Space Lab! Stay high and stay fly! As always much love to everyone who takes a bit of time to check out my grow.

  15. Whats up GC. Big Keen here with another update. Some really good things are happening in the Space Lab! Im gettin ready for the flip baby! I tied all the main branches of my big plant inside and Im gettin her ready for the stretching shes gonna do.
    IMG_20150810_203653052.jpg IMG_20150810_203507780.jpg IMG_20150810_203619746.jpg
Im gonna be giving her at least a 48 hour light dep on her, Ill probably even let her sit in darkness for 72 hours. Ill be doing the light dep this Friday evening while the moon transitions from Cancer to Leo, the Sun is also in the sign of Leo so there will be alot of firey, vigorous energy to harness this weekend.

Heres a shot of the smaller one, I really think the smaller one is re-vegging. The fact that she is going through her leaf numbers again(1,3,5,7 and so on) and the fact that theyre kinda gnarly looking is a clear indicator. Im pretty sure it was caused by me setting the light to 14.5 hours on caused it to try and flower. The bigger one seemed unaffected by it. But the light is on 18/6 now and shes branching out.
    IMG_20150810_203545754.jpg
Also, Im gonna throw her outside while I flower her much larger sister.

Just a pic of my tea all bubbly and shit. Its good stuff. A little smelly but the plants love it.
    IMG_20150811_132251607_HDR.jpg

As for the girls outside, I actually had to bring em in for a day due to some rain. But theyre doing really good. The one in the cooler and the one in the 5gal bucket are starting to flower! Super stoked about that.
    IMG_20150810_185620184.jpg IMG_20150810_185711359.jpg
Hopefully the weather lets me flower these outside this year
    IMG_20150810_190105125_HDR.jpg IMG_20150810_190132417_HDR.jpg IMG_20150810_190246383_HDR.jpg
Some nice hairy lil shoots. I do have em outside today and theyre beamin under the sun!

As for my two babies, one is no longer a baby. Its starting to get big and fast.
    IMG_20150810_185915127_HDR.jpg
    I FIMed her twice
    IMG_20150810_185922325_HDR.jpg IMG_20150810_185952689_HDR.jpg

My Purple Diesel coming along. I did FIM it but my cut was a little low so I may have just topped it.
    IMG_20150810_185815592_HDR.jpg IMG_20150810_185844704.jpg

So thats whats goin on, just gettin everything set up for the flip. Like I said Im gonna do a light dep on my indoor girl by leaving her in total darkness for 48-72hrs. It really helps to trigger the flowering. I did a 36 hour deprivation on my last grow with good results. Anyway thats it for me, just wanted to check in and post up my progress. Now were gettin to the really fun part baby! Big Keen signing out!

  16. Big Keen here with an update from the Space Lab.Right now I got my girl in total darkness. Shes been in complete darkness for 48 hours now and Im gonna turn the lights on at 8 tomorrow morning. I started the light dep Sunday evening at 8 after a good trim and super crop. The light is going to come on at 8 tomorrow morning making it a 60 hour light dep. I also threw in my HPS bulbs so when the light does come on it'll be that magnificent orange/red we all know. Heres a few pics of some of the work i did to her before the light dep. I centered her under the light and took her sister who is re-vegging outside.
    IMG_20150816_170752775.jpg IMG_20150816_170801328_HDR.jpg
I took the net off to center her under the light, but it gives you a good view of the canopy and the set up.

This is a shot of after I centered her and trimmed and cropped her. I shut the lights off right after I took this.
    IMG_20150816_181104929.jpg

And I took this one yesterday just because lol
    IMG_20150818_105609756.jpg

I do have a green light to so I can do some work in the dark
    IMG_20150818_105630774.jpg

This is the re-veg, I tied her down, trimmed the shit out of her and threw her outside while I flower her sister. She looks rough as hell but shes comin back. by the time the other one is finished she'll be big as fuck.

    IMG_20150816_170852170.jpg IMG_20150816_170859734_HDR.jpg

Heres some shots of my outdoor girls. This one has definitely started flowering!
    IMG_20150818_113352828.jpg IMG_20150818_113338891.jpg
    IMG_20150818_113328620.jpg IMG_20150818_113319892.jpg
For this one it would be the beginning of week 2.

    My girl just coolin out...
    IMG_20150818_113307046.jpg
This one is getting really bushy. She has a great round structure. Shes right on the cusp of flowering. I FIMed two of her top shoots roughly a week and a half ago and shes definitely starting her stretch.

And finally, my Purple Diesel lookin sexy outside. Its doin good, not sign as to its sex yet though.
    IMG_20150818_113432699.jpg

Alright, thats it for me, I got a bowl of purple diesel waitin! Stay high and stay fly!!!!!!!

  17. What up blades! Im doing a quick update before next week. The Light dep is over and Ive changed my light schedule to 11/13. Im going to take a page out of DJ Short's book and run this time schedule. From what he says it will cause much more phenotypic expression. It mimics the tropics and you can save a few pennies on electricity. Alot of growers actually claim that it increases yields slightly as well. I threw in my trusty HPS bulbs too
    IMG_20150820_124606634.jpg
Ill be starting her on the bloom phase of Vegamatrix next week in combination with my teas that Ive been brewing. Ill be starting a bloom tea in the next couple weeks using nothing but fruits, flowers and molasses/brown sugar in water.

I finally got my UVB bulb in the mail! Its not bright, but its not supposed to be. It emits UV light which isnt visible, but the spectrum is heavy in purple and green.
    IMG_20150820_115434286.jpg IMG_20150820_115359162.jpg

Ive been bringin two of my outdoor plants in to regulate how much light theyre getting. This one is on its 1st week of flowering. Technically it started flowering 2 weeks ago but I always consider the first week a transition week.
    IMG_20150820_124554898.jpg

This one is in transition right now. Its not setting up like the the girl above but shes on the cusp. I cropped her a bit today and trimmed her as shes a bit more branchy than the other.
    IMG_20150820_124543950_HDR.jpg
I had the UV light on em too, Im gonna get a couple more of these things just to make sure my indoor plants get alot of UVA and UVB like outdoor plants do.
    IMG_20150820_124531236_HDR.jpg

Just wanted to do a quick update and let everyone know whats goin on.

  18. What up GC, Big Keen back again for another update. Lots of things crackin off in the Space Lab this week. I know I usually post on Monday/Teusday but I been kinda busy. Anyway, My VCOG is sittin pretty under the 600w and shes starting to flower now. It seems to me that cannabis in general takes about a week to transition into flowering, excluding all the landrace sativas that can take up to 24 weeks to finish obviously lol. But my indoor baby is goin hard in the paint. Shes starting to stack up and get hairy.
    IMG_20150826_155558309.jpg
This is week 1 of flower. You would never know I trimmed and worked the shit out of her last weekend. She just goes hard in every way. I fed her on Saturday, or Saturn Day, while the moon was in conjunction with Saturn durring the hours of Virgo(4-6pm).

Heres a few shots of how shes starting to stack, lookin pretty damn good if you ask me!
    IMG_20150826_155619204.jpg IMG_20150826_155635535.jpg IMG_20150826_155709968.jpg IMG_20150826_155742228.jpg
Shes starting to show her true colors. A little slow outta the gate but shes gonna be a stacker for sure!

This is a profile shot of the canopy and how she sits in the net. I got her in nice and tight!
    IMG_20150826_155815639_HDR.jpg
And heres a look at her undercarriage.....
    IMG_20150826_155933321_HDR.jpg
Clean as fuck, and yeah I mangled the shit out of her. Mashed her stems, twisted her and pushed her down at least twice a week since she was a seedling.

My outdoor plants are doin hella good to. Im gonna start with the one thats in bloom. And this is an unknown strain, I know she looks good and smells spicy as hell. Other than that I dont know what she is. This is week 2 of flower for this one.
    IMG_20150826_143932051.jpg IMG_20150826_144018352.jpg IMG_20150826_144041018.jpg IMG_20150826_144112057.jpg IMG_20150826_144247232.jpg IMG_20150826_144420981.jpg IMG_20150826_144527430.jpg
Shes lookin great. She started flowering fast, shes stackin up fast and hopefully she'll finish fast. To be honest I shouldve put this one in the cooler that I have another plant in.

And this is the plant in the cooler. Looking great, stretching out like a beast. This would be her first week of flower. But shes gonna be fun to watch. I really like the way she looks.
    IMG_20150826_143842239.jpg
I love the way she looks, nice and round. Shes gonna be a big ball of buds when Im done with her. Heres a quick pic of how shes starting to set up...
    IMG_20150826_143911157.jpg
Not bad for an unknown genetic. I also took 4 clones from her.
    IMG_20150826_142550852.jpg

And one more nameless beauty to show you guys. I FIMed her about a week ago. Shes lookin good. She might be trying to flip but thats all good with me...

    IMG_20150826_143828816.jpg

So thats how Im doin it here at the Space Lab.

What up GC, Big Keen back for more. Theres lots of flowering starting to pop off in the Space Lab boys and girls! Pretty much every thing but my clones and my re-veg is either starting to flower or in bloom. All the girls are healthy and happy. Ill start it off with my Viper City OG. This is week 2 of flowering for her.
    IMG_20150831_173012172.jpg IMG_20150831_173027263.jpg IMG_20150831_173048955.jpg IMG_20150831_173101237.jpg IMG_20150831_173311933.jpg IMG_20150831_173322008.jpg IMG_20150831_173413066_HDR.jpg
Shes looking beautiful right now! And you can really tell she has OG blood in her veins by the long hairs she has. Im feeding her once every 6 or 7 days at this point. I gave her half a feeding on Saturday after the Moon transitioned into Picses with the Vegamatrix combined with some AACT. I fed during the hour of Leo so we should have some nice fire and water energy tied in. And then on Sunday I gave the rest of her feeding, again during the hour of Leo, but with a sugary tea/steep combined with the Vegamatrix and some AACT. I made a steeped "tea" using water, oranges, lemons, limes, banana peels and black berries. The Oranges and Lemons act as a bud tightener. When using aerated teas its best to go easy on the sugar additives you put into the tea. The idea is to inoculate with tea and come in later with your sugars. The fungi and bacteria will propagate better in the soil.

Moving right along, we got the girl thats furthest along. I still dont know what to call her yet. Her buds look good though. Shes getting nice and frosty. She has a spicy sweet scent to her. Shes probably a hybrid but she seems to be fairly sativa leaning what with the leaf structure and all.
    IMG_20150831_164347803.jpg IMG_20150831_164436772.jpg IMG_20150831_164452846.jpg IMG_20150831_164559094.jpg IMG_20150831_164611269.jpg IMG_20150831_164500645.jpg
She looks good with her lil orange hairs and shit. This is week 3 for her.

Next we got another fine lady. Another unknown but she looks bomb. This is her first week of flower. Definitely looks more sativa than anything. Not much of a scent yet, but I love the way she is starting to set up.
    IMG_20150831_164840232.jpg IMG_20150831_164850044.jpg IMG_20150831_164854764.jpg IMG_20150831_164911387.jpg IMG_20150831_164919001.jpg IMG_20150831_164928457.jpg As you can see shes lookin hella good.

Heres a shot of my lil Viper City OG clone doin her dance.
    IMG_20150831_165044054_HDR.jpg

And lastly, one more nameless beauty to show you guys. Definitely more indica leaning than the other two. Shes starting to flower as well, shes not that big but I aint trippin. I got her outside a little too late so thats all that is.
    IMG_20150831_164621367.jpg IMG_20150831_164628216.jpg
    IMG_20150831_164634955.jpg
This is going to be her first week of flower.

So there you have it folks. Big Keen goin hard in the Space Lab! As always I thank anyone who checks out my chronicle.
