My friend Bob needs to keep a laughing buddha plant from getting so damn tall so he was wondering if he could train it to grow to the side using traditional LST methods. It is said to have heavy cola that need support so I was thinking of telling him to turn a tomato cage on its side and as the plant is trained to grow at a right angle it can rest inside of the cage. It would be easy to tie to the cage as well. Any criticism or suggestions?
