im 9 weeks into flowering and I see some amber but not a lot mostly cloudy and some clear, its sometimes hard to tell the difference between cloudy and clear I started flushing about a week n half ago the upper part of the plant looks ready from the naked eye, the pistils are brown it looks like its past the swelling stage so what do you all think? any suggestions welcome
You could harvest some now dry/cure it and then wait on the rest to have more amber that way u can decide if u like more amber or more cloudy.
that's what i was planning on doing think ill let them go a little longer gonna recheck trichs on sun yeah i think ima wait a lil longer
It not done yet. The leaves should turn yellow and the plant should start dying. The bud hairs should die and new buds form around the colas(Crown). Thens it ready!
When all the hair on the tops have died, new white hairs start emerging just outside the cola causing a "crown" Look. example:
Oh okay ill see if i notice that but after i flushed yesterday the leaves are starting to yellow now so maybe it'll be ready next week
There comes a time when production slow or stops and the plant feels heavy. The leaves are yellow and all the nitrogen had been used up. The buds are full of amber trichs with some milkys and some clear on the undernugs. This is a good timeto harvest for those who like potent cannabis.
Oh okay a lot of the trichromes are turning amber now so im thinijng maybe another 5 -7 in more days left
All the dark green energy in the fan leaves get sent to the buds. They feed on them until the plant has no more. So everyday they get heavier (Slowly).
