  1. http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/egypt-says-it-has-discovered-521-tunnels-gaza-strip-1874990106?

    This is insane!

Assuming each tunnel is at least a mile long, were looking at almost the entire length of the Moscow subway system.

At least we now know where all the desperately needed construction materials went...

  2. interesting how the Egyptian army didn't kill thousands of civilians to get the job done ...

  3. Why would they?

They had to demolish hundreds of homes to do so.

  4. That's pretty impressive considering they probly didn't have sstate of the art.tunnelling equipment

  5. Ill give em credit for that, although there's nothing impressive about the use of child slave labour to build those tunnels.

Got a source for that? I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised, I'm not that skeptical but I would like confirmation.

On a cynical note; if children built it then it is all the more impressive. Remember, Islam had it's golden age. Maybe the children still have it in them still before radical Islam taint sets in. If they are child slaves they must resent their captors, perhaps they'll be tomorrow's architects.

Also, I've never seen you link a source in your title description, that's uncanny for your usual M.O. and very shillish.

Don't worry, Hamas will make sure those children are given a good Islamic education.

As for the title, I posted it while on my phone and didn't realise the mistake it until it was too late

Hopefully they're taught to execute with a scimitar proper instead of these janky beheadings with knives they've been showing. I hear being a sharia executioner is a rather esteemed job.

Seriously though, I lose sleep thinking about all that was lost during the Islamic golden age of knowledge. Thirst for knowledge and free thought are the only things I believe could save the Middle East.

  9. Sharia executioners receive great benefits and pension plans I heard :p

The Islamic golden happened thousands of years ago unfortunately.

  10. its actually even more impressive.

Fucked up? Yes. Its definatly wrong.

But children built those massive tunnels? How can you not be impressed.

Imagine what humans could do if we really really wanted to

The situation in Gaza is desperate. The government of Gaza (Hamas) are doing all they can to get supplies in.

“Gaza's unemployment and poverty figures are very troubling and the economic outlook is worrying. The current market in Gaza is not able to offer jobs, leaving a large population in despair, particularly the youth,” said Steen Lau Jorgensen, World Bank country director for the West Bank and Gaza.“

The ongoing blockade and the 2014 war have taken a toll on Gaza's economy and people's livelihoods. Gaza's exports virtually disappeared and the manufacturing sector has shrunk by as much as 60%. The economy cannot survive without being connected to the outside world"

  12. But fuck it, let's continue to build terror tunnels with badly needed construction materials.

    The Hamas way®

  13. Terror tunnels?
Sounds like a scary fun ride. The tunnels are for smuggling a variety of things, weapons included.

  14. So you agree these tunnels are used for terrorism.

    Resistance is not terrorism.

The tunnels are as you know only too well are used mainly for smuggling goods. Goods that cannot be imported in the normal fashion. Let's not pretend here that you buy your shopping on Amazon if you live in Gaza.

Did you think the Jihad Fairy Godmother brought rockets to Hamas ?

  16. Staging attacks on Egyptian soldiers in the Sinai isn't terrorism?

IIRC the tunnel system Hamas made into Israel had enough concrete to build thet Burj Khalifa 10 times.

But we still get blame for Israel for "poor Gaza needs concrete".

  17. Yes.

Hamas i am sure like all government bodies squander needless public funds over engineering their infrastructure.
They should really do a Discovery or History Channel documentary on them. In fact i am going to mail Extreme Engineering to suggest it.

  18.
No, attacking conscripts or soldiers isn't terrorism. Just like that IDF soldier last year that was held captive wasn't "kidnapped".

  19. Hamas didn't manage to attack or kidnap IDF soldiers through cross border tunnels during last year's war, but were instead neutralised as soon as they came out.

  20. There have been zero buildings rebuilt in Gaza since last summers war (due to material shortages) and you have the gut to try and portray Hamas as just another government ?

Good luck trying to convince Discovery channel to air a show about weapon smuggling tunnels built by child labour in Gaza....:p
