Did I get too high or did I do something wrong?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Daedric-Poison, May 25, 2015.

  1. Hey there,

I got a question, but I have to tell my little story first:

Few days ago I smoked a little pure Joint all by myself. I dont have a scale right now but I think it was something like 0.3 - 0.5 of weed in there.

I dont smoke very often, 2 or 3 times a month I would say.

Few minutes after smoking it started:
I sat in my chair and couldnt move at all. I felt everything I did in a very high intensity, like when I moved my leg I felt my muscles move one by one.

I had to not move at all and keep my eyes on one point on the screen.

Then for a hour or so I felt if I had to throw up. When I didnt move it was okay but whenever I moved my eyes or something I just thought "ogm you need a bucket".

I didnt throw up in the end and it wore off after time but it was a very hard and strong experience.

So what did I do wrong?
Or was the high too heavy?

Has anyone elde experienced something like this before?

    Thx for your thoughts!!

  2. My diagnosis is this: That must have been some goooood shit.

  3. Did you grow it? Could have been laced with something. I've had this feeling before after doing dabs. I smoke everyday but I ate the high I get from dabs or shatter. Butter or hash is fine. I also hate the taste of dabs its gross.

  4. nope

OP's experience is exactly like my first time getting high, when I moved it was like it took a second for my body to realized I moved and gave me the feeling of vertigo

  5. Sensory adaptation. The first time getting drunk did you expect to get the spins? when you first drove a car did you know how hard to press the gas pedal? Experience will teach you how to be yourself if being elevated is too cerebral for you to under go. Or, smoke until you know why you enjoy smoking.

  6. May have been the strain- i've had strains that get me high but in a weirdly unpleasant way. I've had a similar problem except i was sitting up watching a movie and taking back to back bong rips, not really counting them. I'd say somewhere between 10 to 15. After i was done smoking i got up to use the bathroom and got extreme motion sickness. I laid on my bathroom floor for about 20 minutes choking on my cottonmouth. When i finally felt good enough to stand i went straight to bed feeling like shit. In short, i'd try a different strain or just smoke less and see if it makes you feel good. If not, then don't bother smoking it. No point in upping your tolerance and possibly forming anxiety problems from repetitive bad experiences ya know

  7. Some strains freak me out. I stick to purely indica now I find sativa is more prone to freak outs where as indica just puts you to sleep if you smoke too much... Seriously. Haha.

I loooooove indica. I got some heavy purp I just grew, soil, organic. It's been great! Also if your over 20 edibles are a lot better it seems there is a threshold for a lot of people that comes with age that makes smoking more frightening than fun but edibles knock you out pretty good!

  8. It's not laced, i think you smoked too much for your low tolerance and it was very good quality sativa bud. next time just take 2hits and then see how you feel if you arent high 1 more hit and wait etc

  9. did you mix it with tobacco?

  10. Thx for all the answers so far!

well it could be the strain... I live in Europe in an illegal state and I get my weed from someone and I just cant tell if "Moonpie Cheddar Haze" is really this or some other strain...
so I cant really tell what it is...

I didnt mix it with tobacco, smoked it pure.

And because I have to smoke outside in a small hidden place most of the time I smoke the whole J (small one though) and then go home again...

Sounds like you just greened out. It seems like it only happens to fairly new smokers. I've been in your shoes a long time ago. If you have a low weed tolerance and you ever get drunk and then decide to smoke (especially a bong rip), you're in for one of the trippiest nights of your life (unfortunately most of it spent on your knees in front of a toilet). And that was my first smoking experience ever ladies and gentlemen. It's a wonder I ever gave the stuff another chance.

Now to clarify, greening out is not an overdose. It's simply your body absorbing the thc too fast. I'm not saying alcohol had anything to with it at all but just a FYI alcohol will cause you to absorb the thc much faster so tread lightly if you don't have much smoking experience.

  12. Sounds like a heavy indica, too much also. Get a pipe (Doesn't have to be expensive, just don't make yourself one unless you know what materials to use. Then smoke like .1 bowls every 10 minutes until you're where you want to be, there's no anxiety or paranoia, make sure you're in a comfortable environment and not sleep deprived, also try a sativa or hybrid, they're more heady than that couch-locked body feeling, you aren't as tired either :) Good Luck. Ps ignore the people saying it was laced, it doesn't sound anything like it was laced, sounds like a low-tolerance high (I still have highs like this occasionally if I smoke a lot, and I've been smoking for years (only smoke on weekends). So yeah,...good luck :)
