  1. first grow, looking for advice/tips on how to improve yield on my 1 black indica under 600 w hps

black Indica feminized: 2 weeks Into flower vegged approx 3.5 weeks
    600 watt hps
    2x4x5 tent temp 25 c
    rdwc water temp 68 f
    gh 3 part nutes

just looking for suggestions on additives/ boosters , and hoping some more experienced growers could make a guess at potential yield if all goes well

    cheers

  2. Those leaves are curling.

  3. ok....never really noticed. what would be causing this? too much heat? nutes too high??

  4. Honestly, leaves curling like that with my experience in Soil is overwatering, how much air do you have going into the system?
You could possibly just be at the very minimum of Oxygen for your water since the plant is getting bigger it is going to require more oxygen.

  5. That means your nutes are too high

  6. Nutes to high cause the tips of the leaves to burn Hence nute burn not curling.............

  7. Nutes too high can cause all kinds of things. Nitrogen toxicity, for one, will cause clawing/curling.
I'd say that's light/heat stress. Move your light up some. Next time scrog or supercrop, and veg longer if you want higher yield.
You can pry get away with some LST. Tie some of them branches down some. Get it spread open.
You should be able to keep the plant happy with the 3 part. A healthy plant will do just fine without boosters and additives.
Hard to guess a yield. You got a long ways to go yet.

  8. Yea but N tox give the leaves the rubbery look cause the plant is trying to perspire out of those pores and it cant. My first plant had horrible N tox............XD i found that out the hard way

  9.
To get high yields, fill out the whole area, keep the canopy even, keep stress to a minimum and keep them as healthy as possible. Your plants are showing heat stress so it would be worth raising your light by about 6"

How much air are you pushing through the reservoirs? And how big are the reservoirs ?

  10. Add an air stones to your main feed for 30 minutes prior to feeding or 24/7.

In a RDWC flowing water in not enough oxygen.
