Safe to use this weed for dabs?

    Hello everyone, so I've had a dealer I've been going to for years now and has never had this problem. On his most recent crop, I noticed a shit ton of little orange/red dots all over the plants, in the nugs and such. Looking closer I could also find little tiny cobwebs. My best guess was some kind of spider-mite, but I haven't found any pictures taken at such a quality that I can be sure of it. But that's my best guess. Now obviously I don't want to smoke this weed, and my dealer said I could return it to him. But I was wondering, if I processed the bud into dabs, would that successfully kill/eliminate all the mites from the final product? My friend says yes, that the dabs would be 100% clean of mites, but I just wanted a second or third opinion. Any help would be great on what to do here. Thanks in advance!

    I wouldn't use any solvent on it.  You can make some bubble hash though.  Any bugs and such would just float in the water or get filtered by the contaminant bags.  Then if you want you could rosin that.

    Yea as @todderfran said you could make bubble hash. But If your dealer sold you a bad batch, why risk making anything out of it? You should Return that to your dealer and Pickup some fresh bud and then go from there.

    Mate, I'd take that right back and get my money back or some different herb.

    I can go back and return them at any time. He just wanted to see if I could sell it to anyone, which I didn't even bother trying to because who would want to buy that anyway?

    I ended up returning two out of the three o's back to him, and I'm still keeping one to try turning into dabs or hash. Why wouldn't you use solvents on it? What benefits would making hash have over dabs? Thanks for the feedback everyone!

    Ended up selling it for mad cheap, and there were quite a few takers... I guess when you can get a half o for $80, people don't give a damn if they're smoking bugs o.0 I warned them, though.
