Hey guys, this is my first res change after a week.

I have 6 liters (1.6 gal) of water in my res and after about 6 hours after the res change this morning, the ppm has dropped and so did the water level.

Does this mean I fill the water back to its original level and not add anymore nutes till tomorrow or something OR should I just leave it alone and tomorrow just fill it back up with nutes to get to the ppm I was at earlier? OR do I just top it off with plain water?

Also the PH also went up a bit.

  2. Study this thread

Your ppms went down and pH went up because the plant is eating and could likely use a slightly higher strength.

I would mix up about a gallon of nutes at a ppm 20-50 parts higher than the last time. pHed at 5.8.
Top off with that, and then re-check/adjust pH to ~ 5.8 - 6.0.
Check again in 24hrs. Adjust accordingly.
