Well, it combines three things I give no fucks about (Florida, dentists, and children) But this is pretty nasty. Good thing I clicked on the video, I didn't know he was back.
That's fuckin' nuts. I'd be pissed if I was a parent and brought them to someone like this guy. If he's been doing this for years, how did he last so long?
If someone fucked up my kids teeth , someone would be disappearing. You don't fuck with things that can't grow back. Especially teeth... Eating is the most basic of pleasures , and robbing a kid of that , you deserve everything that's coming to you.
Sounds like protection and promotion via the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. This is a pretty fucked up story, even more so when you think he is not the only of his kind. I remember my mother telling me about a dentist she went to as a child who slapped her, for yelling while they filled her cavity, with no novocaine. Just last year, I was on a Facebook page for the town this was in, and somebody brought up Dr.Barr, and comments flooded in from people who had been patients of his back in the 70s and 80s. Many people said he had smacked them, covered their nose and mouth, strapped them down, did procedures with no anesthetic, some said he warned them not to tell their parents. Some claimed he did unnecessary treatments. One even claimed that he drilled two small holes into the roof of his mouth. It's disgusting to see abusive people working in the healthcare field. It's even more disgusting to see them backed by large organizations that are supposed to act as an advocate for patients. Hope the families of his victims sue every undeserving dollar he has out of him, and that it'll shine light on other greedy and inhumane providers like him. This reinforces my wanting to be in the room when taking my kid to the doc or dentist. Sad it has to be that way. Also reinforces my desire to get a second opinion when possible before a procedure. I'm disappointed that chick in the video didn't get to smack him down!
