Sharpen Grinder Teeth?

  1. Just traded my friend my Poker Toker for a little portable grinder. The Poker Toker is pretty much a lighter case with a pokey and a pack a bowl on it. Well, the grinder is fairly new but scratched up, and fellow stoners got tips to sharpen these teeth?

  2. You generally don't have to sharpen them. They grind the weed by milling it. It's just tearing your weed apart, not chopping it.

  3. If it gets dirty and starts to stick (it may seem like it's "dull"), just give it a quick iso bath. You can even reclaim the resin from that, but that's just not my thing...

  4. If it's aluminum you can just use a pocket knife and carve a sharper edge.  Or take a dremel to it.

  5. also, you need to realize that any form of sharpening is going to leave metal shavings/dust in your grinder and in turn  your weed if its not cleaned out "perfectly."

maybe run a large magnet over it after, if you end up sharpening it........

  6. Likely just needs a clean, no need to sharpen anything.

  7.

perfect cleaning after is suggested, that's what i would do.

however, you're never going to get aluminum shaving out of anything with a magnet.

  8. I was talking to a friend about this a while ago, I dont know if a stoned mind went too far into this idea but surely by sharpening the teeth ( he said he used a nail file to sharpen the edges) the gap between teeth will widen, so even though you'll have sharp teeth the weed is gonna pass between the teeth without getting shredded?

  9. Aluminum is a non-ferrous metal, it wouldn't have a magnetic pull
