Other than the Volcano, which one would be decent for $100-200. I was thinking about the Extreme Q, but wanted other opinions.
agreed thats why i originally bought the eq but ya using it with the bag is vary unsatisfying also the little fan thats in it makes such a high pitched noise it hurts
Just about everyone that I have every known and heard that got an Extreme Q ended up using it in whip mode only. For bags, the HerbalAire is a much better choice. Lemme break it down a bit... For small loads it works good as far as extraction goes, but as for the density of the hits it doesn't perform as well as a fuller crucible. I find a course grind with a half loaded crucible gives me DENSE vapor and very presently stoned. You do not NEED to grind your herbs I just found with a course grind I get denser clouds. The HA does very well at full extraction of cannabinoid with whole buds it just seems to take a couple more hits as opposed to coarsely ground bud. Also I find it easier to judge my dosage with ground herb. I vapor bong with my HA 95% of the time. I bought the attachment from herbalaire, but later found out I didn't need them. The end of the whip fits air tight into a 14mm joint and the white Teflon mouthpiece fits air tight into an 18mm. Any other questions let me know bud.
Think I'm going to go with the herbalaire lmao. I have a grinder, so should I just grind it regardless? Since it preforms better.(?) What temp do you prefer? (i've never vaped before, I only use a bong pretty much, but i'm trying to make the health swap Ebay has it for 158$
I use my HA at 385F. It gives me a nice head high to start and then I slowly drift to sleep. As far as the grind goes it's all trial and error in finding what works best for you. I prefer a grind for a shorter heavier hitting session while you might like the whole nug for a slightly longer session. This vape is fun to toy around with, read up on it over at fuck combustion for some mods and tips.
Going to order this tomorrow (99% sure). Can you take big rips quickly using the vape with bong? Or is it like a whip alternative, like a quite a few long drags rather then a milky bong hit
Your question confuses me a little bit. When I load up the crucible halfway I get 3 milky bong rips and then about 5 wispy hits as it tapers off to nothingness.
Got it today, loving it. Works better grinded so far, but bits of the ground weed get into the bag and then into goes into my mouth which feels weird lmao
Either a finer screen or using the whole nug method will alleviate that issue. And as far as getting a big hit with the HA through a bong with the crucible half loaded with a coarse grind I can fog up my whole room. This has a lot to do with the quality and cure of your herb.
