So I've been saving up my abv for awhile and I want to finally do something with it. I have 7.2g presently. What should I do with it to use it up most efficiently? Won't take a lot to get me baked either because I am moderately lightweight. I've read that you can put it on peanut butter, but I'm allergic to peanuts. It also needs to be very low odor. Thanks in advance!

  2. Are you allergic to coconut? Try mixing the ABV with 8oz of coconut oil and letting it sit on low heat for 8-72 hours. Then strain out weeds and use for box brownie or cake mix or any recipe that calls for oil.

  3. 7.2g would be a good amount for 1 box of brownie mix (12-16 brownies) for my tolerance.

You can make oil/butter (as Fullmetalalchemist recommends) or grind the ABV into flour with a coffee grinder, then add it directly to the brownie mix.

  4. Not allergic to coconut oil, but is there a quicker method to do this? 8-72 hours is way too long and seems like it would stink up the house a bunch. Rest of family doesn't know and i'd like to get it done in 6-7 hours preferably since I'm off from college for the summer and able to do this while nobody else is home during the day.

  5. 6-7 hours should give you some results, but when it comes to fat based extraction the longer the better.

  6. How much can I expect it to smell?

  7. About as much as it did while you vaped it, and the brownies will smell when you bake them. Maybe do it at a buddies house if you don't have your own place, my little brother used to get caught making firecrackers all the time.

  8. Hmm didn't really smell at all when I vaped, I'll probably just cook something else at the same time and have the vent on to get the smell out

  9. How much coconut oil should I use for the amount I have? I'm doing the mason jar method, so putting it in a slow cooker full of water and inside of the mason jar it'll only be the abv and the oil

  10. The brownie mix calls for 2/3 cups of oil so should I use that much to make the cannabutter?

Since you already vaped it you don't even need to heat the weed, you can eat it as is. Yesterday I dumped 3 grams of abv into a yogurt and was high all day. Sometimes I'll make peanut butter and weed sandwiches too(you can substitute the peanut butter with anything you want)

cooking with abv is whack IMO. unless it's super unvaped, you might as well just throw it in whatever you're eating and actually EAT it.
the only time I got high off of ABV was when I took like 4 grams and just threw that shit into my cereal and ate it. Sure it was nasty, but it was the ONLY time I've gotten high off of ABV. I've tried all these ways these people are suggesting.

also, I basically got high for 10 minutes and then got super tired and passed out.
that's all ABV is good for.

    EDIT:
lol didn't even read the post above me until after posting, but essentially we are saying the same thing

  13. How bad does it taste?

  14. Pretty bad lol

  15. So why is eating as is better than making cannabutter out of it?

  16. You've been sitting on that ABV for a few weeks now. Why not just pick a recipe and go for it? Or if you are undecided, split it in half and try two different recipes, and then report back to us. :)

For what it's worth, my best results from ABV edibles was simply adding the powdered ABV to the dry ingredients (as I suggested above).

  17. Just don't want any to go to waste lol. I think I'm just going to make the cannabutter out of it with the mason jar method. 2/3 cups of it to 7.2g of abv & make brownies from it

  18. About to start making the butter. Would it be bad if I had the mason jar sitting sideways as opposed to upwards when heating because it's too tall to close the lid.

  19. No problem.
