    Hello forum.

I currently have this dilemma - I had planted some Cookies Kush - some turned out male (all feminised seeds btw) . They did not hermie and were never female (as in they didn't change sex due to strain or stressing). Now some of my Girl Scout Cookies are now showing the very first stages of creating seeds (FML). However I thought this would be a good opportyunity to introduce these girlscout cookies to some female kush plants I have separately in order to get some cross-breed seeds.

     My questions basically are:

My GSC with seeds was probably pollinated by the cookies kush - is this ok for breeding or did it have to be a natural male?

(Please note that it is so early on in the flowering that it never exhibited any female characteristics to begin with - it is only just about showing signs of seeding now)

If I can introduce this to the female Kush (2 weeks into flowering and getting white hairs) should I do it now ? Is it better to wait?

Any general tips are also appreciated thanks.

  2. Feminized plants are perfectly fine to pollinate with. Basically just ensures that the resulting seeds will also be feminized. 2-4 weeks into flowering is a good time to pollinate. Most seeds will take somewhere between 3-6 weeks to fully mature depending on the strains characteristics. Now, when to harvest the seeds you'll have to determine on your own. Some plants will have seeds mature/ripen and break the calyx wall, others will start breaking the calyx walls before maturity.

  3. Thanks dude! I also thought this was the case but I wanted to confirm as I have no experience in breeding. Thanks!
