We all know the big hype! Especially these last few years about Organic, Raw, Vegan and so on.. Most of us use them for health, well-being and protection, and just to feel full of energy and amazing clear-mindedness [IMG] (Results are proven)

Then there are super-foods which take your life to the next level to reach maximum human potential, Yes I truly believe yet now know this. Myself Being 70-90% RAW for the last 5 years my whole life has turned around and so can everyone else, Especially when i started consuming super-foods. Some of them even contain important minerals, nutrients, enzymes and so on.. that we cannot get elsewhere these days due to an ignorant system that has disrupted and disoriented everything.

Lucky we have the Internet to connect and share billions of people's knowledge and opinions and has woke the world up and connected everyone together to stuff that we now know and should know and use to teach our youths that will change the world for the better [IMG]

The main purpose of this thread is for people to share their knowledge and the connection on super-foods and plant growth & health. If anyone has performed any tests with results or anymore knowledge one can provide, Please share <3 (However you can still talk superfoods/human health in general.)

Note: I'm going to use this persons youtube videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQMskA5rS-SiEfTrr1uD7Tg as links to the superfoods mentioned below unless they do not have a video for one.

Reason for this is that the videos are long and have every detail you need to know about the specific-food. Most are audio so you don't have to sit there reading you can multitask and listen [IMG] Amazing info if you ask me!

(Only using super-foods that i think could help plant growth and health)
If you disagree on any or like to add more, Please do elaborate and do share.

Here are some of my Classed Superfoods provided with 1 video link 1-2 pictures each to kick-start your knowledge (Feel free to share info and or add more if i have forgot some)

If you have any foods or super-foods that can aid in plant health or contain plant growth hormones please state them and share your opinions.

These are all i can think of for now that i use daily when i can or i have studied a fair bit about with promising results when consumed [IMG]

At the end of the day we all come from once source. Humans and plants are not so different if you dive deep enough, What helps one living thing should help another in someway. Mother Earth herself is one big living being and we are all connected whether you like it or not.

To be healthy and full of life you need to consume as much natural life as possible.
Here is the 6 main things we need http://prntscr.com/76v58k
HOLD UP? Don't plants need all them things also? [IMG]

Now its time to take things to the next level and nourish our babies and see what happens [IMG]

    Bee Propolis
    Flax Seed
    Ginseng
    Dandelion/Comfrey root
<--too lazy/tired to do any research at the moment.

I agree with your sentiment, though, and is something I've been trying to develop into words lately, but they've failed me.

The idea being that, when it comes down to it, plant and animals need the same basic 'things' and these 'things' are already present in nature in natural forms in such a way that they can benefit whatever lifeform (animal or plant). Like with aloe, fulvic/humic acids, kelp, neem, etc, things that will aid the cell differentiation, elongation, proliferation in a plant will have the same effect with animal cells.

Glad to see this thread come around, it shares an idea that's been rattling around in my head for a while.

I've met some raw people before, and even had the pleasure of preparing them a meal. I like the idea that the earth presents it's bounty to us in a form that's already basically perfect, but dude, frying things in oil just takes it to the next level! Haha, I don't eat any animal products, but I gotta have me guilty pleasures.

  4. If you've ever made 'milk' from nuts like almonds, the same process can be used on raw, whole, hemp seeds. This milk/horchata/whatever you call it is pretty tasty and very healthy. The 'earthy' spanish man I lived with told people if a mother cannot produce milk from her breasts, the milk from hemp seeds can suffice and contains the (amino acids? I dont know on this, his explanations were always in spanish and I wasn't exactly fluent) necessary for a baby's development.

  5. Very cool thread!

Yeah i find it funny when people try to compete or prove wrong with something that's been living and evolving for billions of years.. There's always been solutions in nature.. Just look at hemp, We could probably run this whole world eco-friendly with Hemp alone due to its UN-comparable versatility.

Hemp milk is amazing! No soaking overnight or straining needed like other nuts/seeds just blend with water add flavors, Heat up, Easy dose it. Plus its a lot healthier and easier for human consumption like you mentioned. Complete Protein contains all 20 amino acids(plus the ones we cant get naturally) and The Omega/essential fatty acids in as perfect a ratio to meet human nutritional needs.
Sometimes i still wonder if time travelers went back in time to plant some so it could save the world ^^ She's far advanced and set to meet most of our needs of everyday life.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and opinions, Its always nice to see more stuff added to the list [IMG]
I've yet to try Dandelion, I heard its good for liver/kidney detox/disease. Plus all the other benefits classing it as a superfood why not.
For the best quality herbs on the planet IMO check this site out http://www.dragonherbs.com/

  7. If you've got a lot of dandelion near you, you can pick the leaves (which my father's aunt told me she used to eat in a salad) and the roots for your garden and make a nice, honey tasting, preserve from the flower heads. I made the preserves last year and still have a jar in my cabinet, it tastes similar to honey, but lighter.

  8. Man I'd love to run hemp SSTs instead of corn. Wonder how the cytokinin content stacks up from hemp seed?

  9. Yeah man, I'm definitely gonna try this soon as i get my hands on some cheap whole seeds.

  10. I know in europe you can buy huge sacks of hemp seeds for birdseed. Maybe that's a starting point.

Side note: cracked open the jar of dandelion jam I made just about a year ago.
    Delish

  11. They sell hemp seeds on Amazon :confused_2:

Interesting! I've never seen or heard someone selling whole hemp seeds as a food product well at least here in Australia.
They are usually hulled or shelled, Still contain all the good stuff mentioned above but for SST applications you need sprouted i guess for the enzymes.

If i cant find my close friend has a bunch of mango/sativa seeds from last year anyway [IMG]
Not sure if its exactly mango but they all smelt like actual mango fruit it was unreal and they all grew around 1.5-2meters outside.
One time he told me its cause the mango seeds he put in the soil haha lol

I wonder if Tall/Sativa sprouts will help short Indicas in anyway ? I'm still new to growing so i might say stupid stuff from time to time ^^

Oh and that looks so nice @Anatman! Definitely gonna make some now [IMG]

  13.
I'm coming to your house for breakfast xD

  14. My side yard looks like cultivated daisy's, there is so much yellow. It will look like a cotton plantation in a week or so. LOL

No one has mentioned dandelion wine. I've heard of it, but nothing further.

    Wet

  15. Malting hemp seeds proved no better than barley and other grass seeds. The one grass seed which showed something close to a big difference was malted corn which is about cytokinins.

There is more common 'things' among seeds than any huge differences and that goes all the way up to one of the world's largest seeds - coconuts.

    CC

  16. Thanks CC you always provide excellent information. That being said about the coconuts "worlds largest seeds"

I've always wondered if using the remains of plants that grow very fast and large compared to other plants as top dress/soilmix or compost/compost tea if it would benefit plant in anyway.

I have this plant outside not sure exactly what it is but we trim it every so often to get through that space and its branches grow back so fast within a week or so.. I'm thinking about taking one of the chopped remains and throw them in the blender who knows :p

This might sound stupid to those who already tried this or understand how everything works in the plant kingdom so go easy on me, Still learning.

One of the world's fastest growing plant would have to be brown kelp which is able to grow up to 1 meter per day during the season. Considering that it lacks a root system and must both adsorb and absorb elements from seawater, that's an incredible feat. Seaweed and I'm limiting my comments in general to brown kelp because things get sketchy when you get into the red and green marine algae species. It's not as uniform as it is in the realm of brown kelp from the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

I doubt that anyone could argue that another plant would be a better choice than brown kelp. In the world of animal nutrition this is the diet supplement of choice.

Another fast-growing plant that I use extensively is the Bocking 14 comfrey cultivar, one of the sterile series developed by Lawrence D. Hills in Essex, England in the 1940's. It too is an amazing choice to use as a mulch and in fact that's where almost all of the production from 5 very established comfrey plants is used, i.e. to top-dress the raised beds and containers and when mixing a new batch of soil I add chopped raw comfrey leaves to the mix and it's more about the secondary metabolites that comfrey brings to the discussion vs. strictly an analysis of the N-P-K mythology.

  18. What about bamboo Coot?
I've heard it's the fastest growing plant on earth.

  19. bamboo is very rich in silica, i wonder if bamboo powder could be used as a silica source [IMG]
