Scrog question

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by cannachris626, May 19, 2015.

  1. The thrift store have me a full size volleyball net. If I cut it to size can I use it as a scrog net

  2. The net. It's probably 4ftx10ft
I would cut it to a 2.7ftx2.7ft the size of my tent. Would it be very to use one or two needs?

How big are those squares? I really like my netting I buy at Home Depot by the tomato cages and stakes. Less than $4 and I can use it for three scrogs (4x4) if I want fresh nets each harvest. I reuse mine. The squares are a little less than 3". I prefer the smaller squares over bigger ones because I find it easier to train without breaking anything.

  8. The squares are 2"x2"

  9. That's kinda small but you could try it. It may be hard to pull it back under the net and over to the next square.

  10. I see what you mean, I might just skip a square so I won't break a branch. Or just buy new netting and stop being cheap lol

  11. wash it ,and it will work fine ,mine is 4x4 and I think smaller would be better, you will just let it grow under it and pull it up where you like it,
