  1. 70 fucking dollars just for some guy to look at your car.. Get the fuck out of here..Than another $135 to get it registered.. Eat a dick maryland

  2. Not to mention they could fuck up your car on purpose just so they could get more money outta you.

  3. That sounds like a pain in the ass, we just have the emissions test here... like $20 for the certificate or whatever if you pass and another $120 ish to renew the registration/tags for two years

  4. That's nothing, we have two types of inspections last time it cost me $800 for the inspections, and another $1000 in parts. Would have cost me $3500 If I didn't do the work myself.

  5. Electric motor bikes are fun....cheap....did I say Fun!!!!!

  6. yup, cost me like $300 to smog and register this year. didn't pass smog the first time because a bad sensor, got it replaced pain in my arse

    Think that's bad?
When I bought my Titan used, it cost almost 2 grand to transfer the title, smog for $60 and $330 for yearly registration.

Right now it dropped to $316

On top of paying 20 grand for the truck

  8. my state has no emissions tests or regulations.

  9. My truck wouldn't pass smog, but he's a friend of my dads so he passed me on a loophole. Solid.

My registration is always due in December, right before christmas. $175 for my truck. Laaame.

We should go back to horses.

Usually inspection and registration isn't THAT expensive, this is a transition year for texas. By the end of the year everyone in the state will have a inspection and registration sticker in one. I'm glad too, less of a hassle and it's one price. Hopefully it works for the best and doesn't just ending up fucking us Texans even more..

Wraaaap the night around me, blanket of black on my back, I feel safe in the darkness...

  13. Wow and I taught I had it bad in my state.
    Here it's only $40 inspection
    $60 registration.

  14. My state varys town to town on emissions so I don't have to in the town I live in. But registration is about 100-110 here. I'm in IL btw.

  15. I learned that lesson too. Never buy in the last Qtr. of the year. To much money for TT&T.

  16. Wtf you guys. Hands down would not have a fucking car at all if it cost that much just for emissions and shit. Get the fuck outta here.

  17. When I had to get my car inspected when I switched my car insurance it was free. The parking lot had spots facing the building or the road and I parked facing the road. The guy doing the inspection asked which car was mine and he looked up from the paperwork he was filing and said your all set lol. No inspection at all. Basically saw just the rear of my car from a distance

  18. Yeah.............

making sure your 2000 lb hunk of metal is safe to operate on public streets is bullshit............
