I am on day 73 of flowering. This strain is a sativa/indica hybrid. This is my first time growing and decided to do a Hempy style set up. Unknowingly that you shouldn't transplant autos and should plant them into their pot till harvest, I placed my seeds in a solo cup fill with perlite. It came out surprisingly good for my first time. But my problem now is knowing when to harvest. I've been flushing for about 2 1/2 weeks. I have a jewelers loop and see no Amber trichome. maybe 1 or 2 here and there but still unsure. You want to wait until your pistils are all orange and receding into the bud. I think you started flushing about 2.5 weeks early

  3. Today I seen most of the white pistols started receding back and it looks like 85% of the hairs are orange/brown. I see a few more Amber trichomes but still unsure... Here's some better

    Help please

  4. The way your pistils are changing is odd. Looks unhealthy.
I would still give it another week.
Since you don't see much amber, and your pistils look that way, it isn't quite ready.
    Do you know the strain?

  5. It is a sativa/indicate hybrid I believe mostly sativa.

  7. Is amnesia the strain or seed company? Whats a speed seed?

  8. The cfls definitely cause a strain to flower slower than HID lights.
Just keep patient and show us some pics again this weekend.
A good rule for the inexperienced is that when you think you're ready to harvest, wait another week.

  9. Speed seeds is the company the seed bank I believe. The strain is Sativa/Indica, Amnesia auto is the name. And I figured 1 more week well this Thursday will be the 11th week mark I'll keep you guys updated.

  12. How's she lookin dude

  13. I decided I couldn't wait no more . 77 days seemed ridiculous and I seen 5 % of Amber trichs so I went CHOP. Let it hang for 2 days now they're in jars

  14. They're still a little wet tho but w.e it burns. Does curing properly increase potency? Will my high be stronger? ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1432568242.643072.jpg ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1432568258.160071.jpg

  15. A good cure and a proper dry will increase every aspect of your smoking experience.
It's not uncommon for sativas to go longer than 11 weeks. A shame you didn't just harvest a sample and let the rest finish.
Two days before jarring is pretty quick.
If you see ANY moisture built up on the jar when it's sitting and closed, you should let them sit in a paper bag for a day or two then jar again

  16. This is a heavily sativa strain I'm growing.
This was taken on day 74 and there are a few weeks to go before finished.
Just saying, with sativas, there's nothing ridiculous about a 12+ week flower.
    Choose your strains wisely!

  17. Ayyyeeee I like that. Yea I was really contemplating if I should've cut them or not. But now while they're in the jar they have this weird hayy smell. ????

  18. That might go away during cure.
I only say might because if it was a little premature, there is probably a lack of terpenes which give it a smell and taste.

  19. I'm pretty sure the odour is due to the genetics. Decent weed though
