18 seeds, 3 different strains, cant get one to germinate...

    18 seeds, 3 different strains, can't get one to germinate... and is there a way to know if they ever will or if they are dead?
     
    I have tried a Jiffy seed starter, a glass of water, damp paper towel.. nothing..... Strains are Smurfberry, Blue Dream, and Willy Wonder.

    Where did you get them from? Do they still look good? Dark color no cracks or anything?

    They like to be warm. Wet paper towel in a tupperware container and sit it on top of a cable TV box, DVD player(left on) top back of the frige just needs to be warm.

    Most new growers drown the beans. It's more common than you realize.

    Not soaked, damp. Best way to put it.

    Never heard of that kind of fail rate with paper towel.  Almost impossible to mess up.
     
    Where did you get them? And yeah, I'll second what people are saying about some warmth being needed.  Top of my old stove is always pretty warm due to the pilot light, so I just put the seed in between two damp paper towels, throw it in a ziplock, and put it up there.
     
    No failures with any kind of plant.
