High End Vape With The Least Smell

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by seanmoon1550, May 16, 2015.

  1. So I've been smoking for years and have always used my trusty bowl or pipe and its been great. I've moved into a town house and I've been told by a neighbor that the people I'm living next to had called the police in the past on the person who used to live in my house. I really would like to smoke an hour or so before going to bed a few times a week.

Now I'm willing to really invest in an expensive vape, I'm not looking to spend more then 400 and want it to really last. The biggest thing is smell, i don't care about looks as I will be smoking in my own home but it can not be noticed by any of the neighbors.

I'm considering the Firefly, Pax 2, crafty as well as the mighty. Im open to any suggestions, again my main question is witch will produce the least smell, I realize some is inevitable and there are walls separating us but I'd rather minimize any risk.
    Thanks for the help

If smell is a big concern i would take the pax out of that list. I wish i could be more help but i have experience with the pax and not the others on your list.

  3. All vaporizers will give off a smell. I have used all the ones you asked about and god knows how many others. The crafty/mighty are the highest priced ones but they do give massive clouds of vapes and most likely wouldn't be your best bet if only smell is the deciding factor. The pax/pax 2 also give off a smell, not as much as a crafty but your not getting nearly as big hits. The firefly would be the least smelling one to a point... it does have a kinda weird learning curve which takes awhile to get used to and when you have to open the lid to stir the herb it will smell.

Maybe using a good old fashion spoof with the crafty or mighty out a window would be possible?

  4. If stealth is the main factor your looking for. I would get a FireFly or MFLB. I would light incense and what not and vape in the room. Also use a sploof or smokebuddy.
    You should be fine.

  5. Look into the Mighty from S&B, same people who made the Volcano.

Considering the amount of conduction going on and considering it's ability to produce huge, dense vapor clouds, along with cooking your herbs between hits,  the Mighty would NOT be a good idea if keeping the smell down is a top priority.

It's a great session vape though.......

  7. I use my lsv all the time, occasionally on my balcony as well. My neighbors have no idea I blaze, the smell from a vape likely won't make it out of you house unless you have the windows open, even then it will be diluted very quickly. A convection based, heat-on-demand like the firefly would likely be best. Or make a buddha blower, or boom tube, whatever they are called now. Then blow fat tokes all day.

  8. I've been looking at the mighty, because portability isn't a big concern would the volcano be only another 20$ for the basic model. Im not super social after smoking and don't smoke with a group more then a few times a year so would the volcano be a better buy? Again witch would smell less? Thanks guys

  9.
If portability isn't a big concern, there are other desktop vaporizers that cost a whole bunch less than the 'Cano that are just as good if not better.     Bags are great in party situations but being that most all of your vaping is done solo, a direct draw vaporizer and/or one that works well when hooked up to water tools may make more sense.

  10. Honestly, don't put the smell factor above everything... every vape will have a smell. Closed my door yesterday and vaped one or two bowls with the Mighty, roommate came in a few seconds right after last hit and just asked a question and about to leave. I asked if there was any smell, said nope. Told him to come in a little more, he said oh yea a little bit. Honestly it's not much, but it's always going to be there. Also if you really want a desktop vape, look into Herbalizer for volcano-like 'next-gen' technology or Vapexhale's Cloud EVO for vape bonging. I personally chose Mighty for portable and Cloud EVO for home/plug in/desktop. Have not tried Herbalizer, not too interested. Very interested in Sublimator Adapt-A-Dabmaster but really don't feel like it's worth $600, especially since it's the adapt kit too... but seems like a great alternative to combusting, have been having a very hard time adjusting vape to combust. Have previously owned Digital Volcano, Arizer Q Extreme, E-nano and a few other small time vapes like MFLB and VaporGenie.

You can purchase just about any vape you want as long as you blow the vapor into a smoke buddy. That will diffuse most of the smell from the exhaled vapor. There will still be ambient smell for most vapes while in use but it shouldn't be enough where the neighbors will smell and call the cops.

I agree a convection/heat on demand vape would be best. Like the Firefly or Elevape Smart Vape (ESV).

  12. I share a one bedroom apartment with my retired mother. I have the bedroom she sleeps in the living room. I vape with a solo and air almost every night with the window open she has never smelled anything. Also invest in a essential oil diffuser. Burning incense is like screaming I smoke weed! lol. You will be fine with any vape as long as you aren't vapeing crazy back to back.
