Weed change in taste and smell

    So I had about 5 gram of weed that I was curing into a mason jar, last time I had check it was at 56 % humidity, so I went to check to opened the jar and check again, but it slipped to the ground,shattered piece of glass everywhere.... I picked up the buds. And stored them into another mason jar. That weed was being cured but I was smoking on it as well, so I knew the taste and smell. But yesterday, 1 day after the accident, the first bong hit was ok, but left a bad taste in my mouth, but the second hit, I nearly puked. So..
     
    TL/DR : Does weed that was into a mason jar and then fell and broke onto the ground. Picked up and put back into another mason jar, change smell and taste, so much that its almost making me puke after a bong hit.

    Sounds like you picked up other various dirt/debris/hair etc with the buds when you picked them up off the floor. Burning that kinda stuff will definitely taint the taste and smell of the smoke.

    Yes is a floor, its sure its a bit dusty and all.... I think i'm gonna try to cook with it and hope that it dosent taste awful.....

    Sure, I get that ! But it really feels like if i'm burning other stuff at the same time.... Maybe it picked up dust and probably micro-shards of glass... anyway thanks for the replies guys
     
    Edit : The awfull taste is still there, but it seems to be less hard to smoke with my glass pipe, so im just gonna finish it that way..

    Accidentally dropped buds on my carpet, picked it up again and such. Next time I go to smoke it's also a horrible taste. I dump the bowl and mixed up in the weed is some thin hairs and such from my carpet. Gross burning hair taste and a horribly painful feeling in my chest after.

    go 50/50 tabbaco long joint you wont notice a thing, thats how I stayed chill when i was outa weed just burned few old ass leaves from another century felt fineeeeee

    Yea man I've picked up my fair share of fallen buds and every once in a while there will be a small hair (particularly dog) or some dust or something else that I'll just say "fuck it it's not going to affect the bowl" and pack a bowl with it.  I've had this same almost puking feeling and bad horrible taste that came from smoking the tiniest bit of debris on the weed.

    Maye a couple cat hairs and a booger got picked up and you smoked it?
