I need something to store my weed so it wont go bad?

You're fine with keeping your weed in a dime bag. Storage is usually necessary for larger quantities as it can take a week, months, etc. to smoke. Your dime bag won't last that long. It's not mayonaise, it's not going to spoil if you leave it out

hope u end up liking it, don't smoke on an empty stomach, or while dehydrated u can have a panic attack more easily. start slow with small hits and see how u feel before you smoke more

Cheap mason jar with lid.  Throw the bag in the jar and no worries for a long, long time.
 
Plus it knocks down the smell.

 

Yeah a mason jar would be the way to go for a big quantity, but your buying a dime (guessing that's about a gram). Since your new to smoking I'm guessing it'll last you 2/3 days so nothing will happen in that short a time period. Unless your storing it in a very damp place, however I'm guessing that's not the case.

 

An empty pill bottle also works great!

 

Your cannabis will be fine, hon! And any water-tight jar will work!

Always store your cannabis in a glass container. With plastic, the trichs can stick to the plastic, and they are lost forever when you toss the baggie. (I also have strong suspicions that with THC being oil soluble, compounds from the plastic may migrate into the cannabis!  ) 
 
With a glass jar, you can take a tad of high proof vodka, remove the trichs and pour it on some dry stash to rehydrate it, or evaporate it down to a drop or two of high THC "sludge", or just drink it! Which ever way you choose, you get those trichs!

Well a dime isn't a lot, but when you start getting weight... Use a mason jar, jam jar, pill bottle, vitamin bottle, picklejar, etc.
Just clean the jar out and dry it first.

 

if you buy an eighth or more you will want to store the majority of your stash in a mason jar and then have another smaller container to keep what you plan on smoking for the next few days. there are 2 very important reasons that you want to do this. first, keeping it in a bag allows it to get all fucked up and lose potency. second you can continue the cure of your bud by keeping it in a mason jar and leaving it the fuck alone unless you are grabbing a bud to toke on.
 
case in point, i just broke into the last big bud of the QP of pineapple i had from last october. crazy right, keeping the bud for that long. well if you take care of it it will not only last longer but will improve in taste, smell and most often potency. i wish someone would have explained this concept to me when i was a young scrub smokin the ganj.  

 

I use a small Wonka fruit candy tin that I've used for ages, but whatever floats your boat.  Apparently jars are back in vogue...
