If i wanted to run 4x4gal rez tanks how big of one should i get to supply sufficient O2 to my babies?

  2. If its just for babies you could get away with a minimum 32 lpm pump.

Active aqua has a 45lpm and a 70lpm model. The 70 one is $50 and I'm not sure what the other one is.

I like to supply more than what id consider the minimum. That 70 lpm pump would be more than adequate. It works really well with the cylinder style stones.

  3. Ok cool ill look at it 😊. Thanks letter 😁

  4. A 45l would be enough, but I use a 70l with 2 airstones in each bucket.

  5. Whats 400gph = in liters?

    1500lph or 25lpm

  7. Ok thank you fullmetalalchemist😊.

  8. gph pumps are a different animal. They are for pushing nutes through  large diameter tubing, whereas, lpm pumps pump air into air stones via ~ 1/4" tubing

  9. You will find that some air pumps are rated in gph as opposed to lpm.

  10. I have a 793gph pump. It'll be in a 50 gallon tote with approximately 30-40 gallons of water. Will it be enough with an 8" circle stone? It should come out to 50.03lpm

  11. I run a pump twice that size (118 lpm) in a 40 - 50 gal rdwc system. It's enough, but I'd be happy with more.

You may be ok, but I'd pry want a couple stones to spread out the area of aeration.

  12. I have three smaller 10lpm pumps (I think) with 6 10" long stones I can throw in too for 8plpm

  13. Sounds like a plan.

  14. And what every ones favorite air stones? I have one through bubble mac industries coming and it should be here tomorrow. 2 year warranty, doesn't break down, micro pore, and self weighted! Worth checking out for sure, 50 bucks

  15. This is what I buy. I ain't trying to spend a shit-ton on stones. [IMG]
Plus, I have 4 in each flowering tub. They work just fine. And when they don't, I throw em away and drop new ones in.

  16. Ah ha, those I use now until the new one! Same shit different dude, lol! They do work good, but my soup eats em up! They are cheap enough though

  17. Im gonna try wooden air stones 😁

  18. Found a nice 70lpm pump on amazon but its gonna have to wait because im gonna get my old tent up and running when i move 😁

  19. Wooden diffusers would be awesome, as long as you don't use cannzyme

  20. I dont use it. If i did a 10 pack for about $20-22 is cheap lol
