Should be interesting. Ordered 10 non feminized Kaya golds from nirvana seeds, and they should be here anytime now. All ten seeds germinated, although only two have come out of the ground (on Saturday btw) these two have made a lot of progress, but I'm worried about the other 8. Like I said, they all have their white tails, but won't break ground. Any thoughts on why? these are the two that have broken ground btw.
This pair needed the light a lot closer from the start.. They are spending precious energy on that long thin stalk and will likely fall over and die.. Try planting deep in a 3x3x3 inch cup burying that long stem and get that lamp smack over them two or three inches away at most.. Edit.. Try putting them outside during the day and under the light at night until you get that initial stretch under control..
I don't actually have any grow lights, I have a regular 300 watt bulb but it's not meant as a grow light. Would that work? Also I don't have much time to spare so I already put my two strongest ones in the ground today because it was an overcast day, and I've heard those are the best for transplanting.
had the fan on them overnight to strengthen the stem, and buried the weaker part of the stem underground for extra support. Sad to have to take my chances with putting them out on their own so early, but sadly I don't have any other choice.
B but on a side note, three others are now out of the ground with the seed side up! Only 5 more to go until all of them are up there! Have the fan on them for stem strengthening, but I don't have any grow lights. Could I use a 60 watt halogen bulb in the seedling stage?
Any kind of Fluorescent shop light or CFLs will do or just be content to put them outside.. Halogen is to hot and not suitable..
Well, I left last Friday and haven't heard any update on my plants. My asshole brother said he'd take care of the ones I didn't put in the soil, but now it turns out he's not. So I guess I can count those five as dead by now with no water or light for a week. Hopefully the three I put outside have been alright by themselves, because those will be the last of my Kaya golds. Watch all of them be males this is so frustrating !!!

Well Kaya gold is at an end. The ones I had indoors all died from no water for about 3 weeks, and the three outside were raided. Started 6 of the freebies and I'll just have be more careful with those. Even though it was a very stressful experience, I have to say I learned a lot already that I couldn't have learned from a book. Not sure if it was the cops who raided it or another person, but the three plots were all dug up
Wow thats crazy why would they pull then and they weren't even ready. . Good luck next grow. Try to get one 15 gallon pot and plant for of the seeds together. Then get a metal cage around it with a lock .
they probably don't want marijuana growing because they think it's bad I'm guessing it was either the cops or a "Good Samaritan"
