Ways to make the most of small grow areas

  1. I'm not offering any tricks, I'm asking for them. If there are any pro's out there who know how to get the biggest yields using only the smallest spaces who are willing to share some DETAILED tips I would really appreciate it. I know the basic Ideas (sog, scrog,lst....) but more info would be great.  I'm using cfl's and  some small led's and my grow space is around a square meter give or take. I'm assuming that most people here are working with basically the same type of setup and would benefit from such help as well.

  2. Vertical grow

  5. Those setups cost several K though.. I saw a video where a guy built a rotational hydroponic one from scratch, and it still cost him almost a grand..

You could grow hanging from a wall and pining the plants against the wall for much the same effect.

Like this but with a vertical scrog.

  6. The best way to get a bigger return is get rid of the fucking dirt, Organic Hydro can give you 50% more bud, bigger, better and faster.

True.. but learning how to hydro, and tuning in your hydroponic grow can be quite costly and time consuming. .. I tried hydroponics and quickly switched back to soil, soil being much more forgiving of my novice skills.

I would swear by some Black Gold brand compost. :)

  8. A specific question that I have is, is it possible to set up a 600w hps light without an air cooled hood and just blast a fan directly at it to keep it cool. I have a fan taking out air at 270m/h2 so the hot air will get pulled out pretty quickly. This way I save space on the hood and ducting leading to the fan.
