because the mmorpg genera has literally become an industry of addiction. All mmorpgs are grind fests now eever since wow mastered the formula of level caps and gear sets to get the week willed to spend trillions of dollars to hit their "1" key over and oover, all for a digital sword that has a slightly different look, and better stats. -yuri
honestly, these PVP oriented games are nothing more then a kill off off n00b players. this is like a bunch o other random titles on steam. i like the dinosaur angle but the PVP aspect will kill it. imagine trying to start for the first time and every time a group of people who have been playing for months or years just kills you off every time. ya, it is going to be one of those....unfortunately...
Might not be. I don't know how other mom's work, but in DCUO you can just turn pvp off. This one will hopefully be like that.
IGN is live streaming this right now. They will be for awhile longer. If you miss it, early access has started so I am sure there will be plenty of video. Also project Morpheus support is officially confirmed for this game. Looks fucking fun. Can't wait for ps4 release!
Got this game last night off steam for £19 and im hooked! After trying the pvp servers and getting killed by some lurers i decided to try the pve servers and they're much better, if anyone wants a game im on world 31 most of the time.
Hey guys I just bought a dedicated server. Was thinking about making it a private grasscity server if enough of you are interested. My intention is to make a PVP server with one rule, night raiding is not permitted period. You can raid and destroy any person or groups property provided there is someone logged in to defend it. I also have a ventrilo server that could be used.
Except this game is not a mmorpg at all? It can best be described as a multiplayer(60 players not massive) survival fps with rpg elements.

Yeah im at level 15 now but the game doesnt really keep you totally occupied, looking forward to the xbox one release though as i guess they'll be updating it with more content once its in full production.
how is the leveling? Are there skills and talents/customization? Or is it just a linear level up the character type? -yuri
Nah no skills just engrams that you use for making things like spears/foundations/guns and leveling up health and speed of movement. Its an alright game but has lots to improve on before console release!
damn. That's even worse. I hate when they make you level just for power. At least let us customize skill trees damn -yuri
