if it has little to no crystals, is it bad weed?

    has all other signs of being good weed, but very very few crystals, almost none

    From my experience generally speaking yes but I have been surprised on the odd occasion from weed that looks average turning out to be good. What other signs do you speak of?

    like it smells good, doesn't crumble, a lot of tiny hairs, good shade of green etc

    I have smoked cannabis for 48 years. I have smoked "ugly" weed that knocked my socks off [​IMG] , and I have smoked "beautiful" weed that did almost nothing [​IMG] . Looks can be deceiving!

    sorry passed out last night after the weed haha, ok so it took about half a bowl more than my usual to get high, but it was a bit more relaxing. i'd say good weed. the cool story is that yesterday i used the small nuggets, today i took apart a huge nugget, and millions of little crystals everywhere! can't wait for tonight XD

    And left huge nugs with trichomes still intact on the inside? Nah. Sounds more like it's just been bagged and moved around for awhile.

    Yup, my bud is the same way. Nice green color, orange hairs, but not as many visible trichomes ("crystals") under normal light. Break it open, and it's christmas.

    looks for thc crystals dont matter. there are a lot of strains thats look bad but are amazing. once i had weed that was pretty dry and didnt see many crystals... one of the dankest weed i have smoked. all my veteran smoker friends even said it was dank. and they get top shelf from dispos

    A lot of green isn't properly handled, slammed into a brick and sent off, thus no visible trichromes and there being an ass load of the inside, here's an example:

    Sometimes you can get amazing smelling and looking weed and it doesnt get you that and then there is really ugly weed that smells bad and looks bad but sometimes it turns out to be amazing or even better than some really good looking stuff.
