Hey everyone! I'm new to growing dwc hydro and fimming. If anyone could help me decide if I fimmed my baby's right I would appreciate it!! Here are some pics!!
Your pics aren't showing up.. fimming is pinching abt 60% of main shoot, then growth hormones move to side-shoots til tip heals n grows again.! It has same effect as topping but with less stress.. you can then fim til your happy with how bushy you want it.! Hope sum of this helps.. Gaz
You want to leave some of the inital cola but take most of it, and you should see the 40% left that gaz is talking about would make two colas, and the node riiight under where you FIM is going to make 2 more, as if you topped it, but you didnt. For a total of 4 new colas on the top of the plant. Gaz pretty much covered it
Im a beginner! But not unfamiliar with the Taste and Effects . Omg. .. im kookooo for Kush! I would appreciate the help from anyone out there who is familiar with like a starter set? Lol idk. Seriously though, like I'm sure it starts just like a flower with seeds. My ignorance in this area is you frustrating not too expensive! My needed help area is in where, like is there a website that you can choose different strains? CREDIBLE! !!?? Or maybe there's an app ? I appreciate any and all the responses. And as previously stated I really am an amateur, meaning I've never attempted this before! And I'm really not sure about what words to use because it's not even legal in Pennsylvania. I always leave 20-25%(snipping 75-80%) and its never a sure 4 colas , I've had up too 8 colas off one FIM , usually less but never a constant 4. Also if you are fimming you should make sure too clear lower branches (lollipop) and focus all energy too those tops - end results should be a grip of massive thigh length colas (genetics do play a big factor though) like this NL/alien-widow cross- Aka NAW. (deep pink) Good luck
