The cycle of yugas

    I've heard about this a lot on the JRE podcast about the belief that civilization goes through many different yugas and right now we are in kaliyuga but they never really went in depth to this and so does anyone know about this because it seems interesting.

    Hmm i listen to a fair number of his podcasts i cant recall hearing this. Do you know what number(s) by chance?

    I have seen that before and it doesn't say when or how long yugas last like was the roman golden age in a good yugas or is it bigger than earth and more of a universal peace or conflict and this kaliyuga has lasted all of human history
