Lol @ ppl saying they would beat the shit out of someone pointing a gun at them. You all wouldn't do shit, nothings worth a bullet to the gut or the head.

    More internet toughness

Private police forces have been used in the US for years. I'm not talking about security guards or that kind of thing. I'm not sure when they stopped, but in San Francisco you were able to hire a private police force which had arrest powers and could do everything a cop could do. That may have ended in the 90's, I'm not sure. I also want to say that the first police forces in the US were private police, not run by the government. Here's an article you may find interesting. Or not.

  3. The military is increasingly turning to private contractors to do it bidding.  Less control, less regulation, less recrimination.

  4. Except taxes and the police were here before you were. So technically, if you're going to use this analogy, your parents were the ones who knocked on society's door, not the other way around.

Did you pay for your education out of pocket? I didn't think so...

  5. I doubt it.. and I think what you think would be the last direction we evolve in terms of no taxes. There are very few countries that don't have taxes.. and they aren't flourishing or out performing. They're small countries with little to no infrastructure.

I can see it "evolving" one of two ways.. either shit breaks down because too few people were putting money into it and then those people will want taxes back.. or individuals and/or corporations with a lot of money will foot the bill and then want to dictate how said infrastructure is used and probably charge people. Your way is wishful thinking, a pipe dream.. cause it relies on the people.. and well, the people suck just as much as taxes and the government suck.

What if they still taxed people and said that you can opt out of paying taxes, but if you do that you can't use any infrastructure that is paid for with taxes and would be fined if caught using it? That takes care of your issue with taxes..

I have a lot of problems with modern tax systems, but I can agree that the taxation = theft people are nuts.

  7. My state does nothing with the taxes it get no healthcare and a ride in an ambulance cost 500+ because it a private company state doesn't do shit. I don't want any services provided for me. I'll do everything myself from grow my food butcher my meat power my home with no help from the big big big big government. Fuck them and now its illegal where I live to live off grid. Extortion. The mafia I is always gonna try and get you to comply by brainwashing you before it turns ugly and violent

Haha I bet none of them even know what it's like to have a gun pointed at you, even in jest. It's like your whole body is screaming "Duck! Run, hide!".

No sane person would be doing anything but what the person said at that point.

  9. Of course they are fucking nuts. It's like complaining about being lactose intolerant while downing a pint of Ben and Jerry's.

"It's theft! Except for all this government funded shit I take advantage of".

  10. If u knocked on my door and I would said cool but first let's bang sexy. Obviously in this scenario ur a female porn star not a cop. Maybe tho. I'd dig banging a cop.

  11. you are right. Being born into modern slavery is a lot better than slaves of old.

    I should enjoy the perks

Come on man, I have as many complaints about how public funds are used as anyone, but taxation isn't slavery.

  13. I definatly ffeel like a slave to the ssystem.some times.

Perhaps it depends on the definition of slavery.

At least I'm not forced to work.myself.to death at whips end

  14. I'm not sure how much time actual slaves get to spend on forums complaining about the system. I'm pretty sure that's frowned upon. [IMG]

  15. not arguing against that

    Just arguing for progress.

Saying "their life was shittier" is irrelevent

    We should still progress

  16. I agree. The fact that you are using a weed forum to argue about how you feel like a slave should demonstrate how much we have progressed.

Be grateful for small mercies ...

  18. If tax money was used effeciently and morally it would be a great thing but it seems the name of the game is to put yourself in a position to stuff your pockets with as much as possible.

  19. Abolish the IRS.
