I have a UFO led not sure what wattage I think its 90 and a lighthouses hydro blackstar 100 UV I have a 4' t5 54w x 6 for side light but I can only run the two middle lamps due to heat I have four plants Durban poison, citcal kush, ipineapple express, and cinex also I'm in 2'x4'x5' tent my question is will I get a decent yield and how close should I be to these LEDs to maximize the lights footprint

  2. If your trying to fill the tent I would personally look into more lighting. I have a 600 watt hid and a 400 watt led in a 2x4x5. After I switch things around at the end of this grow my plan is two 400 watt hids. Approx 300 watts of t5 and an 90 watt led that actually draws probably half that many watts is going to be pretty weak. My 1st grow in a 2x4x5 was with a single 400 watt hid and yield was less then impressive.

  3. Could it be other factors ie... Strain and environment conditions cuz my father grew two Hindu kush monster in 4' t5 ho fix 6 x54w and harvest over 3oz each not to say your experience wasn't what u went thru but it seems very odd

  4. No... in a 5 foot tent a single hid light can't be raised enough to efficiently spread light to the ends of the tent. The plants directly under the lights footprint was fine the ends are what were light and airy. Remember an hid is in a smaller hood I believe the enclosed hood my 400 is in is 19" long as compared to a 4 foot t5 tube. Even then I got over 3oz per plant just the ends were airy. I wouldn't be happy with only 6oz from 2 plants. I fill up the entire tent. Under the lights foot print was really dense. Now I run 2 lights rather I scrog or just LST. Wall to wall it looks like this. My tents are in a small outside grow shed, I'm not able to stand back further to get a pic of the entire tent without standing outside with the door open for my neighbors to see. The 1st pics are LST plants the other is in a scrog. Either way the tent is solid green from side to side, 1 single hid light won't cast a long enough footprint with only 5 foot of height

  5. What led are you running again?? That doesn't look like very good penetration my two LEDs cover the whole tent corner to corner and the floros catch anything else

Its a 400 watt mars 2 led but the reason you don't see it spread through out the tent is the 600 drowns out the color. I only have the led focused on 1/3 of the tent. A 90 watt led is going to light up the entire tent but there's no way the coverage will be decent, that's why u have to use 2 plus floros. It just doesn't have the power to cover that much space alone. A 400 led won't cover that space alone if you fill it. Just because you can see colors through out the tent doesn't mean its penetrating well. If all your looking for is 6oz you already have that covered. If your looking for more you'll need more lighting. That's why I asked if you intended on filling the tent. People grow differently. Some pack their tents as full as possible, some dont

  7. I am growing just four clones with one week veg after root hoping for at least 2.5 to 3 oz each plant u think I'm on the right track estimate wise??? And yeah I see now why i don't see the penetration in photo but the plants look like fuckin butes old shit bro

  8. Also I am using 1 gal smart pots and botanic are bloom nutes ... Do you think id get more bud per harvest if I were to grow like 10 small plants 12\\12 from rooted clone in a sog type setup

  9. That's pretty wishful thinking for a small container and hardly no veg time with only 4 plants. 1 week veg is more along the lines of a micro grower looking for only a few grams a plant. 12/12 from clone is definetly some small plants. Either longer veg or a whole lot more plants. I don't grow really small plants so I'm not sure how many your looking at needing to hit your goals

  10. I grow anywhere from 2-6 plants in a 2x4 depending on what I'm doing LST or scrog. Anywhere from 4 weeks to around 2 months veg to fill it out

  11. Last time I begged a plant for a month I ended up with a fuckin 6' jungle tree bro that a why no mm exploring other optiona

  12. that's what training is for, lst, scrog, etc. If i just let them grow normal i would have 6 foot trees too. 3oz would be a pretty sad yeild on such a tall plant. With training it would be shorter and yeild more. And if its still a problem look for shorter strains

  13. The strains I'm running now are Durban poison, pineapple express, crit kush, and cinex the cinex I know is gonna be a bush but will these others be likely to super stretch???

  14. Haven't ever grown those strains but no matter what I would still train them. I don't understand why anyone would want to not train a plant. There is no downside to it as far as I'm concerned. A couple minutes here and there to have a larger yield and a shorter plant in the same amount of time is a win, win in my book

  15. How far into flower can u LST them?

LST during Flower is not recommended as it can stress the plant and slow down bud production, and in worst case scenario cause the plant to hermi due to stress.

OK another question I have is my d poison looks sick like bugs mabey should I remove it from my garden and destroy??

  18. LST needs to start early to open up bud sites and get the plant growing how you want it too. You can tie them down a bit in flower in an emergency, but its good to start early. I've tied plants down in flower without problems. Pic would help to diagnose any problems

  19. Here's a pic when lights flip on tonight I'll try for a better pic
