  1. Just started reading the alchemist, heard a lot of good things about it.

So far its pretty good, really grasping the theme, I love to picture what the author is writing, great quotes as well. im going to try reading this when im high next time, would be my first attempt at it haha.

  2. One of my favorite books of all time!

  3. I have heard all sorts of positive things about it.. I think next time I see it cheap at thrift stores I frequent I will pick it up have been looking for something new. I am almost done with The Fall of Hyperion.

  4. I placed it in my Amazon list a while back and then suddenly stopped reading books all together, I stopped writing at about that time too, a damn shame really.

Just minutes ago my girlfriend and I were performing some naked poetry and after getting her off and getting off in her we lay cuddled up and the thought occurred to me, I never did get past the first chapter of the second book in the Girl with the Dragon tattoo series. The first was such a phenomenal read. It's my favourite book. I think i'll dig that second book out tomorrow after work and flip to the first page and see where it takes me.

The last book I read cover to cover was Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. I quite enjoyed that.

I wonder how long it will be before I actually purchase and read The Alchemist but I hear Will Smith has some good things to say about it.

  5. It is very good book with deep philosophical meaning. You may get many quotes from it and motivate yourself all the time.

I've heard it was a good book even though the concept behind the story is an overused one.

I've been reading a lot of non-fiction lately but i might read this book eventually. i would probably get it from the library instead of buying it however.

Awesome book, I remember being in sophomore year eagerly waiting for the next sequel of the boon to come out, and I completely forgot about it haha. I need to read it again though, as far as I can remember it was a great book series!

Edit: I'm thinking of a different book series also by the same name. Sorry

I read it in middle school and buy copies for readers close to me, when going through a transition.

  12. Read the book after seeing a recommendation on here found it trivel and repetitious

was written in 2 weeks by some guy on holiday

then translated into English very badly

really don't know why you guys like this crap

as in the book.... the answer to your question is right under your feet

planning to be burnt at the next communist book burning party ...lol

    score 4/10

  13. I never read Alchemist but I heard it's one of the books that will motivate and inspire you. Well if that's the case then please read Total Recall if you want to be inspired. It's not only inspiring but also a interesting and exciting life story to read.

  14. indeed I have read total recall a short popular story back in er....1980 something ...lol

I thought Arnie (movie) did a good job

but as for the latest movie

    it was crap imo:

    cheers/

  15. The book is about his life story not the movie lol. But seriously though it's like the bible for inspiration and success.
