topped off my thirsty girls reservoir today added: 1.5L distilled water 3 ml davids grow base 2 ml davids grow "grow" 1 ml calcium magnesium I ph'd the mix at 5.6 before adding it to my reservoir. things are going very smooth, looking to get cfl bulb splitters so I can add another 23w to the bottom row. she's thriving in her current conditions though.
added two behemoth 42w 6500k cfls on the bottom power strip for a total of 84 watts. threw 2x 23w 5000k on the top power strip just because. she's growing like a monster
one of my behemoth 42w lights went out rearranged the bottom power strip so that there is 1x 42w 6500k and 2x 23w 5000k's for a total of 88 watts. plant is looking strong, the leaves are gigantic and some of the roots have to be a foot long.

no... do you think I should switch my bulbs out for 2700k bulbs? my girl is about 17cm tall right now... she's growing like crazy
I'd wait till you at least see the first pistols to switch lights. Keep in mind once she starts her stretch she will easily double or triple in size(or more). She looks like she has some real nice branching going on so far.
You don't have to change them all at once either. You can pull just one out and replace with a 2700. Then wait till u see plenty of pre-flowers and switch the other 2.
ok I think I will throw one of my 42 watt 2700k on the top power strip current lighting: top strip - 1x 42w 2700k bottom strip - 2x 23w 5000k 1x 42w 6500k
update, day 26 from seed. current lighting top strip: 1x 42 watt 6500k bottom strip: 2x 42 watt 2700k reservoir gave her 1.5L of nute soup yesterday which included 1.5L distilled water 5ml davids grow "grow" 3ml davids grow "base" 5ml davids grow "bloom" 1ml calcium magnesium ph'd the reservoir this morning at 6.6, added a few drops of ph down. notes as you guys can see I have almost completely switched over to flowering mode. I had to make a trip to the grow shop yesterday to grab the "bloom" nutrients. you guys can also see I singed one of my fan leaves (which happened before I moved my lights up). She appears to be growing like a monster, here's to hoping she will yield.
That's one of the main problems with the small boxes. Really hard to put a true carbon filter in them. Search the DIY section for DIY carbon filters. There's a couple good ones on there u can make for really cheap
