Me My Weed and I

  1. Got a lot on my mind lately. Im new here and just want to share a part of my life with you beautifl aZZ people. :)

I smoked for the first time when i was about 16, had a few bad exp with it, didnt know anything about it, and always had to hide to do it or not get seen by someone I know etc.

Over the years I smoked a handfull of times until I was around 21, I got married, yes I got married young. My wife and I would smoke once in a while, now it was a little better, we would watch a movie or just eat alot. After those few months of smoking once in a while i stopped. I am 25 now with two little girls:), but ive been smoking for the last 6 months now, even more often in the last month.

Its so weird I never thought id love it so much, the little things in life feel better, I just went for a walk with my wife in the middle of typing this and smoked a pinner. The walk felt so much better, the same boring streets had a sort of beauty I didnt know was there. Ill smoke a pinner on my way home sometimes just for a buzz.

So you could say I just started smoking recently. Am I slowly turning into a "stoner" or "pothead"??

  2. Sure? Just do you man. It shouldn't be taboo for you to enjoy pot.

  3. yeah i know what you mean.

hey man i love smoking weed, i just feel like its turning into a lifestyle for me, and im not sure if its a good thing or bad.

It's somewhat hard for weed to turn into a lifestyle unless you really started putting it before things that are originally most important in your life such as your friends, family, and job.

But hey if you're just smoking a pinner a day just to make a walk that much more beautiful, then go for it. It's only helping you at that point, at least in my opinion. Happiness first [IMG]

but! There can be a healthy way to make it part of your daily life. Just keep your responsibilities first as with most things that are enjoyable in life. Lol or so I've found. But, if you're anything like me...drinking was never my thing. The bar scenes were all overdone and I always felt uncomfortable when I drank. I tried smoking weed for the first time in the 8th grade, I'm 25 now also and I've smoked everyday (on and off depending on work or school or a drug test) I believe I've only gone about 6 months without smoking and it was terrible and you're right about it making life more enjoyable. Seriously, but I agree with Jaysfordays....it really shouldn't be taboo to like smoking weed. And I'm from Washington state where is legalized, and it's treated so differently there than it is say here in Florida where I live now. If it were treated the same as it is in Washington or Colorado, then I think things would slowly start to move away from making Marijuana so taboo.

  6. It's a good thing. Whatever you wanna do go for it... as long as you have your shit together. Which seems like you do,

  7. if it makes the little things in life better why should u care whether your are turning into a pothead?

  8. Thanks for the replies!!

Sometimes I smoke to just deal with stress and the odd days I feel a little down, it helps me thoughts from racing. I Dont grind my teeth, cus I sleep like a baby.

Yeah I guess it can be taboo in some socoeties or looked down upon, but whatever I am from Toronto and I should look into getting my card. I am very picky as to where and who I get my weed from.

The title of this thread is pure gold.
You're having fun, and enjoying life.
Who cares if you're "turning into a stoner"
Just enjoy smoking, limit yourself if you must.

  10. @stonethug and herb turf

    Thx..yeh I guess I see what u mean.

  11. Potheads tend to be hippies, as you mentioned your experience, whereas stoners have been potheads for years already. You will fit in the timeline accordingly because, well, Weed.
