These guys are always so skittish.. yet when it comes to throwing down, they don't even care what is going on around them. The one looks all busted up, but looks like it was just getting ready to shed.

  2. Are they more personable than lizards? I think yoh have the kindnof skinks i like (they are blue and striped), how are they? I wouldnt mind getting one sometime

  3. They're pretty skittish.. but once you get hold of one and just hold it, they calm down quickly. I like to catch them and put them on my shoulder and walk around work with them chilling. Those are the older version of the ones with blue tails. They're all over here.. but you mostly just get a glimpse of them or hear them running through leaves. The bigger ones pretty much claimed the wooded area, so smaller ones come to us and scurry about. Couldn't tell you how they are all grown up.. half the time you just barely see them. They look mean with their big ass red head when they get older.. but could be more for show.

  6. Do you find many salamanders these days? I know they're taking a big hit from pollution and such, but damn, I haven't found a salamander in ages. We have a bunch of wetlands at work, even at my old job.. but never found a salamander. I remember when I was a kid, they were so common and easy to find.. all you needed to do was flip some dead wood and seemed like there was one.
