Like thick sexy, or long sexy? Also, should I try and do anything about the red stems, or just let it finish out its life cycle? (It can't have long left, right?)
Red stems means low temps most likely during lights out wen your not able to monitor temps... Not the biggest deal but if u can get night temps up it'll most likely change ... Alotta purple bud you see has just been shocked sorta like that stem and it atop the plant from producing chlorophyll in a certain area thus making the stems or buds be purple
Hahaha amen to that! Ah, that would make sence, we've had a storm the last few days and the temps have dropped to almost 20 C durring the dark period. Right before harvest I'm going to give her 48 hours darkness, if I add a frozen ice pack to the box should the bud darken in that short of a time?
I'm making my own bud porn now lol Opened up the speaker box today, and fell under assault via gnats.. Soil was bone dry though, so Idk where they came from. Watered with compost tea and peroxide, set a cup of apple cider vinigar inside aswell. Going to let her super dry out and see what happens. Hopefully I got all the larvea, vinigar for mom and pops. Lol. She's starting to stink now! In true budget fashion, I think I'm going to hang a couple car fresheners up. (2 for a buck! )
If you want your bud to appear darker or come out purple you can throw it in the freezer for 1.5 _ 2 hours after chop before drying careful to keep checking and make sure that no frost forms during the process this will make your bud when dried appear darker with lots of purple in it
Didn't you had 1800 lumen before and not 2x800? The 2700 lumen bulb is 42watt, right? If that is your total wattage you probably want to add at least 1 extra lamp to grow some bud. Also lumen are for humans, PAX for plants, but sometimes its hard to find the PAX values and calculate with them...
Hmn.. yeah, thats what I meant, my typo! XD Update: The leaves are yellowing and wilting now, so I think shes almost done. Some of the tendrils are going from white to pinkish-purple-white. I'm going for a heady high, so chop early? Should I chop her and let her finish up while drying? :S I'm going to let her cure for a full 30 days if that makes a difference.
Thats what I was thinking... but I've heard of people harvesting early for a more heady high. Is that true or a myth? I'm just watching her race twords death and its saddening. . .
Do you think it might be rootbound? If you suspect it is it prolly is. Transplant if needed to a bigger pot to finish budding.
Ok, so I opened her up and sure enough she was root bound.. like, a cake like disk of root.. So I transplanted the girls, hopefully they'll bounce back! :S
Nice that's two threads now where I've got people to repot into bigger containers. Nice job sure looks like it needed it.
