Gotta counter this.   Sorry GC.    Hope I'm not breaking any rules here but I've always called it like I see it so for those that are thinking about purchasing this vape, please read my comments here:  http://forum.grasscity.com/vaporizers/1369136-juju-royal.html

I totally get that advertisers help fund and keep this site alive but I also feel that GC's credibility is as important as well and that visitors who come to this site should get accurate information on the vaporizers that they are considering to purchase.

This is the same issue that High Times has in that they will rate highly those vaporizer manufactures who buy ad space in the mag and not give good reviews to those who don't.     To those who are really knowledgable about the vaporizer market, this IS a real conflict of interest.

I sincerely hope that my comments on this don't get deleted being that I feel that accurate information is more important than generating advertising revenue, but hey, easy for me to say, eh?  [IMG]

  3. Tagged you in a post here looks like it got deleted fast.
    This one will too probably....
I'd just like to say I completely disagree with what the mods do here, introducing crap like this. I feel money is involved as it usually is.
Back to fc for me unbiased and unpretentious !

Money IS involved in that it is generating advertising revenue to keep GC up and running.   I totally understand that.

There are a few of us who really understand the vaporizer market and I would be more than happy if GC ran potential advertisers by me before they commit to taking taking their money.   Hell, I'd even go so far as to pitch legitimate manufacturers to advertise here all in the hopes of keeping GC's credibility intact.

I don't know who's in charge of generating and approving ad revenue at GC but I'll be more than happy to help out if asked.   I was in the advertising/marketing game for over 40 years in the consumer electronics business and also know a shit-ton about vaporizers so...............use me.

  5. lol what credibility... that ship sailed a long time ago for me. Pretty much everything they advertised ,except for the haze, has been shit. Clones or just plain shit.

  6. .

  7. The mods have zero to do with the advertisements.
lwein's post is still there, all the back and forth bickering was removed.

Any post by <span>GC Advertorial is and should be considered a paid advertisement and nothing more. It is not a review, it is not an endorsement.</span>

    And I appreciate that, IC.

But something to ponder.   It is kinda hard to totally divorce an endorsement or a review when the ad appears in the forum.

Question.     If the ad copy contains inaccurate and misleading information, does it not reflect badly on GC?    I think it may.

Suggestion.   What you may want to do is to state very clearly (not in small print) in every post that contains ad copy what you said above, that is:

"Any post by GC Advertorial<span style="background-color:rgb(247,247,247);"> is and should be considered a paid advertisement and nothing more. It is not a review, it is not an endorsement."</span>

  9.
LOL, I just suggested that to Rummy.. :smoke:

  10.
    Great.

Also, thanks a bunch for deleting all that other back and forth crap between Marley and myself.    That was getting a bit out of hand....
