How to dry weed after it gets wet

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by S.FynX, May 3, 2015.

  1. Hi guys, since I'm on mobile, and injured I can't delve into the whole story, so to make a Long story short, I was jumped by a group and Iblocked a machete with my backpack, which destroyed a water bottle inside causing a whole O of granddaddy purp to get wet.
I know weed can get moldy this way, so after 2 hours in th e.r. I blotted some with hand paper and left it wrapped in there. Now that I'm more stable, im trying to dry it via blotting with paper, but is there a better way to do this? I'm being discharged in the afternoon so any advice is good,
Still currently blotting. My trees are all soggy lol

  2. Make sure mold doesnt grow on it, let it dry and check for mold just in case when its dry. If there's mold just accept your losses and be happy that they hit your bottle and not your neck lol. If you have time id love to hear the story btw

  3. Put a small fan blowing on it to speed up the drying.  [IMG]   The faster it dries the less chance of mold, but it should be OK.

FYI- The water will not affect the potency since THC does not dissolve in water.

    And be careful, hon!

  4. I want more details on this machete attack..

Sent from my intergalactic spaceship hotbox

  5. I've read brown paper bags are the way to go with wet bud but I've never had to try it.

  6. Thanks for the replies, guys! What about sun-tanning my trees? Lol
Also, will update later on previous events

  7. Put it in paper or something. so why did they attack you??

  8. The light can 'hurt' the trichs...not really hurt but reduce the thc.

I am sure a few hours sun tanning wont be the worst thing though.

Personally I would just air dry them(use fan if possible).  Also use a dehumidifier if possible.

Never had this happen to me so this is just what I would try.  Fell out of a canoe once and the ziplock baggie kept everything dry.
