This is my first attempt at DWC and a grow journal, so hopefully all goes well. I've got 5 gallon bubble bucket under a 400W Mh/HPS. I'll be growing in a 4 x 4 tent, a bit overkill in size but I'm planning on doing some larger grows after this one. Seed is a Dinafem Strawberry Cough ordered from Herbies. Started it in a rockwool cube last night. Under 42W CFL.
In soil I used the FF Trio, but I'm leaning towards GH Flora Series. I'm looking to use just base nutrients.(Grow, Micro, Bloom) You recommend anything for DWC? Also had trouble adding images to my main post.
nope. in the process of doing that now i just top off with straight ph'd water for the last few weeks

Transplanted her today! PH is about 5.8 Ballast is running at 200w about 16 inches from her leaves. Pushing about 10 LPM into the bucket.
Third day in DWC, still no roots. Seedling is getting a little droopy and is loosing its darker green color.
Make sure your rockwool isn't staying wet, I'm suspecting the roots are probably getting suffocated. Were there roots outside of the rockwool before you put it in to the clay balls?
There weren't roots before I put it in. Is there any way I can dry the rockwool while its in the clay balls?
End of week 1 Still no root through the net pot, but she's been growing. Second set of true leaves slowly coming in.
Thanks man Having some pH issues. pH keeps going neutral from 6.2 I feel like it may be some Hydroton dust, going to replace the reservoir tomorrow.
End of week 2! Roots! Real hard to get a pic of the roots right not so here's the plant. Going to feed 1tsp of silicate today just so she can handle the upcoming heatwave. Still deciding between GH flora series or Remo's new nutes.
