Analogy

  1. Jesus is to logic as Satan is to intuition.

Both Jesus and logic (masculine) are pedestalized or idolized by their respective belief systems, whilst Satan and intuition (feminine) are repressed by their respective belief systems.

  2. I see where you've gone to with this, but it's not as simple as that.

You're right in a sense, but you have to look at the character of each in their history. Jesus was the Son of God (perfect yang) which is attributed to truth and creativity. While Satan was Azazel, God's favorite (perfect yin) which is attributed to knowledge and rational. Take the instance of truth, and you'll see that it is harmony of chaos, always free flowing. Knowledge meanwhile sets to understand and control that chaos, only causing unnatural chaos. The effects of truth is growth and freedom, the effects of knowledge is division and confusion. Now whichever is held higher in your moral regard is your belief.

Very knowledgable post. I never knew the name Azazel was translated to Satan.

The "Jesus" I was referring to is the one that has nothing to do with truth per se but is the who has been perverted by the church into some sort of superhero who shall come to the rescue and save humanity and marches us into the Kingdom of Heaven, while the logicians use their logic to plan a transhumanistic future of immortality through a technological merger with our bodies.

    Nuts, eh?

  4. I'm afraid replacing God with technology would be a greater concept, if the means for doing so were not as corrupt as it is.

Have you ever noticed that ever since the socialization of the Internet occurred (Y2K), that scandal after scandal has been reported in economy, business, media and politics?

Less places to hide when information is no longer bottlenecked (teevee media vs. Internet media).
