Welcome Ladies and Gents, glad to still be around these parts for another season [IMG]
Now that its almost May, maybe something will start growing in this frozen wasteland that is New England! But enough about the winter I'd rather forget....
So this year I just wanted an early start for once (literally), and looks like I've managed to get a good start on things. However, in order to do this I've had to pick up an 'apprentice of sorts' lol.
(They will not know where any of my plants are)
Will try to keep this brief but ya know...
I have 12 seedlings started, unfortunately I kind of mixed them up. Including: GSC, flowerbomb kush, super silver, an OG of sorts, PPP, and some new and old seeds as well. Some are out in a greenhouse of sorts, gotta check on them today....
as well as this persons 10 or so seeds that are growing pretty well for now, mid seeds and heady seeds..
Almost everything going in pots, essentially same as last year (same soil, nutes, spots (mostly), plan, etc) worked out well $$.
am adding EWC, reamending a bit, and picked up some cool shit from store - recycled glass stone things, instead of using perlite so pretty excited for that.
    thats all for now folks

  3. Good luck this year!

Got a feeling I'm going to be seeing swamp monsters in few months on this journal.

  4. Thanks Uncle Benny, you got plants goin out this year?   Definitely excited to see what an early start will make. So far no losses!

  5.
I got 6 sitting under T-8 lights. Two are repeats from last year - HSO Chemdawg and Cali Budha Tahoe OG.  The other 4 are mix - silver kush, Koshie tangie, dinachem, and sage and sour are new strains I'm trying.  I really liked the Chemdawg from last year, but the budha tahoe og was a bit disappointing for me.  Still wanted to give the budha tahoe another try based on the rave reviews from Old Pork.  I'm going to miss OPs journal [IMG] .

Anyway the dinachem is a strain of the chemdawg from what I glean from the internet...

  6. Been slacking on this journal I started, but everythings looking good so far. 3 in a swamp spot, 12 or so ready to plant in containers and 3 or 4 already out in diff spots. Should be interesting... pics coming at some point [IMG]

  7. Sup TP!  I'm still lucking around this site so I wanted to say good luck.  Your spot looks awesome, so much sunlight.  I think we're gonna have good weather this year. I'll be following your journal so I hope you get some big ass plants.

  8. Gardener! Whats up homie, long time no see. Hope alls good with ya, don't really venture out into much of GC so never know who's still around.

Unfortunately just lost a bunch... moved the greenhouse that was doing well for more sun but then temps were too high and they suffocated :(   However, I had recently moved all the biggest into pots about a week ago so they're doing well. Will have to get some shots of the swamp next week. Of course camera was dead by the time I got there lol. Guess its time to start a few more... weather looks good though.

    peace

  9. That sucks man, I got a good feeling about this year I think we're gonna have some great weather.  Deff start some more seeds!

  10. Yeah we'll see how long all this rain lasts, still early though!

  11. Its been a bit dry this season but my plants are loving it.   I've been hauling water and additional nutrients/supplements out via a 5 gallon gas container in my backpack on a weekly basis.

So far this is my best season to date.  As in prior years my plants really stretch out and get tall.  But, I'm getting the thickest stalks and tallest plants I've ever grown at this point the grow season.

I know some people look down tall plants, but I don't really care cause the weed I get is really kick ass!  My try to snap a few pictures next time out to share if your interested.

Still a early in the season.

Yo Benny! Good to see you checkin in man. Nothing wrong with tall plants!

Ok, so finally managed some new pics!

1st - 3 smallest ones transplanted a week or so ago, can see that Mix This stuff (recycled glass not perlite) in pic
Most of the rest are the rest at that spot (last years)
    4th - just a beast lol
    5th - 2 small ones growing well in a 20 gallon
6th - swamp spot, finally getting some plants in here, always thought it was a sick spot [IMG] Out at the swamp I gave up finding the last of 3 so no pic but my buddy grabbed a pic and its HUGE. like 3.5'+ already. Growing straight up! This is a pic of 1 of 2 that are same size, doing well!

Weather mostly 70-80 with a bunch of rain this week and maybe this weekend.

Dunno why pics are sideways, apologies!

Guess I've been slacking on this lately, life's been busy and crazy..

Actually have pics from the swamp spot today, they're all pretty big but not bushy at all. The biggest (pic 2/3) is prob just under 6' [IMG] Other 1 not pictured is the same size as the other, still about 5' tall. Last grow nutes 7.7

Oddly enough, the swamp ones are all flowerng!?! I've never seen preflowers before about Aug 10 so dunno what the deal is. Someone suggested it was all the dark rainy days? Dunno, wish they were bigger but should be interesting. Was gonna go to others tonight but looks like rain, 3 more going out today haha just a lil late.

Dunno why sideways?? anyone? Stay safe out there everyone

  17. Looks good dude. Too bad they are already flowering. Do you ever top your plants? I get bigger yields by topping them a few times.

  18. No I generally dont although maybe should have? I usually LST over anything, tied a bunch down the other night. Got some pics of the other spot, all look good but will have to upload later. No flowering at the other spot either, so now I'm thinking its just the forest they're in? not sure.

  19. Ill be heading out to my spot tomorrow I havent noticed any early flowering, but i do get a lot of sun in my new spot for this year so i hope not. I'll have to keep my eye out, losing a month of veg time sucks.

  20. Yeah for sure man, dont like losing that time either. Not sure if I'll use the swamp spot again
