Hash smoke the same smell as weed smoke?

    Does hash smoke smell the same as some dank weed when smoked.

    If you're asking if someone smelling the hash will be able to tie it to marijuana, yes they will.

    This, although I find that the smell doesn't stick or linger as much as ganja smoke. It's also noticeably less skunky and potent in the second hand smoke than bud, IME. Significantly enough that I used it as a stealthy means of medicating when out and about, and it worked well for me for many years. It's similar, reminiscent of weed, but not exactly the same. As dankness pointed out above, the less plant matter being burned, the "cleaner" the smoke or vapor will be from it.

    Thanks for all the answers, The reason for this question is that my friend smoked hash next to me and to me it didn't smell like weed at all it had a slight weed smell but nothing major,

    No.. I just wanted other peoples opinion, because I've heard of a thing called fake hash and i didn't want my friend smoking some deadly soap bar shit, I know my greens but i don't know nearly as much about hash.
