My soil mix is 1/3 fox farm ocean forest, 1/3 perlite, and 1/3 coast of main lobster compost and a mixture of amendments. The grow space is small, I'm using the secret jardin L90 so the flowering section is only 2x2. I'm scrogging two plants for that reason. I'm using the Onyx Bloom LED, has about 250w. The seeds are Sin City Sin Valley OG.
I started out with 8 seeds on Jan 26th and finally picked the two girls I'm going to flower last weekend. They were topped at about six weeks old.
Lights were on 18/6 from jan 27th to april 4th and then i switched them to 16/8 from april 4th to april 17th. they're now on 12/12.

here they are one month old:

nice to have someone watching. i checked out your thread, how do you like the tent? i like mine but am just using the whole space instead of going with a a perpetual system.

my girls are growing up nicely, they are starting to go into full flower mode and i think the growth spurt is coming. im a little nervous about the height issue i have and this is my first time doing a scrog so maybe someone can help. when should i stop training the plants under the screen?
right now the light is about 19" above the screen, and the plants tops are are about 4.5" above the screen. im worried that if i dont keep training them they will become too tall.

on another note im going to give them some bu's brew compost tea this weekend.

  3. Bump, can anyone help me out?

  4. I love the tent man. Thought about using it as a single room tent too because i still have my cabinet but i want to keep my cabinet for if/when I get a good strong male so I can collect some pollen for breeding purposes in the future. Those ladies are pretty haha. You could keep training them but I wouldn't do it too much BC of not wanting to stress them too much now that they are in flower. Is your light as high as it can go?

  5. it can go about 5 inches higher and i moved it up a little yesterday. i just pushed the screen down a little to try and lower the canopy. the tops are now 16 inches from the light. i hope it works out

  6. here we are 21 days into flower. the tops are about 13" from the light now. i think i kinda screwed up the scrog at this point.

  8. Things are moving along. It's been four weeks since the flip. I think they are showing magnesium deficiency so I have been spraying with Epsom salt. I'm going to start to top dress/ water with lime to get the pH up hopefully. I want to top dress with bat guano too but I'm not sure when I will. What's the best time to do that?

  9. 35 days since the flip. interesting to see how the two plants are growing. the one that has five main colas has fatter buds than the one that has seven main colas. im going to weigh each plant separately to decide which method is better.
ive came to a realization that i haven't been watering enough to flush the excess salts out of the soil and that may be my problem so im working to correct that now by watering twice as much. the runoff tested at 6.9 so im not sure if pH is the problem.

  10. 42 days since the flip. buds are starting to fatten up a little. im hoping they really add some weight here in the last couple weeks. i think a nutrient lockout stunted the growth a little in the middle of flowering which will affect my harvest. i've learned from my mistakes now and im hoping they make a good recovery for the last 18 days.

49 days in. another week and a half and i think im going to harvest. trichs are about 80% cloudy 20% amber. not a lot of amber at the top of the buds.

  12. 56 days since the flip. the one girl on the left is pretty much done i think. She doesn't seem to be getting anymore nutrients or making any new pistils. i would harvest her this weekend if i had a nice spot to dry her out but i dont so i think i will harvest both girls in about five days. the girl on the right seems to be in a last ditch effort to find some pollen cause i've seen a lot of new pistil growth in the past week. this should be an exciting last week :) if everything goes as planned i can expect to smoke some in about a month or so.

i cut them down last night. despite dropping both the plants on the carpet, things went pretty smoothly. i now have to pick out a bunch of hairs though. here's a few pics right before i chopped them.
